homeland-renewed-season-fourI´m a bit behind on the shows that have been cancelled and renewed lately, and October´s been a particularily interesting month, with a lot of movement in that front; so let´s review what happened everywhere, ranging from newcomers that got cut, to solid, steady shows getting the much expected callback, as some shows that get the callback for one final run for next year. A lot to review:

Cancelled Shows of October 2013:

  • Lifetime Cancels The Client List: The Jennifer Love Hewitt starrer will end when the current season finishes.
  • We Are Men gets cancelled, and it was about time!
  • Lucky 7 cancelled after only two episodes and becomes the first fall casualty.

Renewed Shows of October 2013:

  • Strike Back got renewed by Cinemax: The action packed show will come back for one final ten episodes season.
  • Showtime´s megahit Homeland gets renewed for season four after breaking ratings records.
  • Newcomer show Masters of Sex gets renewed by Showtime for season two.
  • NIckelodeon greenlit a second season for animated show Peter Rabbit.
  • The Blacklist gets a full season order to complete 22 episodes by NBC.
  • USA renews Covert Affairs for a fifth season that will premiere next year.
  • Boardwalk Empire got renewed by HBO.
  • Comedy Central renews the funniest show on TV: Key & Peele for season three.
  • Comedy Central renews Brickleberry for one more season.
  • Comedy Central renews Drunk History.
  • BBC Three renews The Revolution Will Be Televised for one more run across the ocean.
  • Most unsurprising news of the year: The Walking Dead gets renewed for season five.
  • CNN renews Inside Man with Morgan Spurlock.
  • BBC One renews Atlantis.
  • NBC is bringing back Celebrity Apprentice for one more run, but there´s a lot still to be announced about it.
  • Resurrected show Drop Dead Diva gets renewed for season six.
  • Fox gives Dads full season order.
  • USA renews Suits for season four of the lawyer / outlaw show.
  • Fox brings back TMZ through 2017.
  • Newsreaders gets renewed by Adult Swim for another season.
  • Lifetime brings back previosuly cancelled by NBC Betty White´s Off Their Rockers.
  • Full season order and post Superbowl slot for Brooklyn Nine Nine.
  • Full season order for Mom from CBS.
  • The Crazy Ones gets full season order from CBS.
  • The Millers gets callback for full season order by CBS.
  • TNT renews Franklin & Bash for season four.
  • AMC renews Small Town Security for another season.
  • MTV renews Teen Wolf for season four and adds companion show “Wolf Watch”.
  • IFC renews Comedy Bang Bang for season three.
  • Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. gets full season pickup.
  • MTV2 renews Ain’t That America with Lil Duval for season two.
  • MTV2 renewed Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out for a new run.
