Hallmark Channel already is setting up the tables for a filled of family entertainment 2013, and that´s what I´m reviewing here, after all, it´s not only the good news of the cabler bringing back Happy Days and The Brady Bunch, or the 124th Tournament of the Roses Parade, classics like The Lost Valentine or premieres like Nearlyweds. So now, let´s look at another original premiere that is surely to be enjoyed by the whole family and those who like rom coms and / or Kathryn Morris from Cold Case who stars in this film that was filmed during hiatus and completed in November 2012.

Desiree Harper’s (Kathryn Morris, “Cold Case”) perfect life as the wife of a high-powered Manhattan doctor comes to a sudden end when her husband says he wants a divorce and invokes their ironclad pre-nup to leave her penniless. Desiree soon finds herself abandoned by her rich friends and back in her New Jersey hometown helping her father (James Best, “The Dukes of Hazard”) in his struggling bakery. Though Desiree wants nothing more than to return to her high-class life, spending time with her father causes her to see things differently. She rediscovers her love of baking and puts her business degree to work to save her father’s shop. Desiree’s success at the bakery leads to an unexpected opportunity which forces her to choose between what she has lost and the new life she has found.
