White-Collar-Checkmate-premiereUSA is closing another year as the number one cable network, and when you start recalling the original shows they have, you can only say “no wonder they are number one”. Let´s do a little list: Psych, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, Royal Pains, Covert Affairs, Suits, Necessary Roughness, Law & Order CI, Fairly Legal and of course: White Collar.
And now White Collar is coming back in a few, premiering new episodes January 17 2012 10/9 C.

White Collar is back with even more of the intrigue, wit and cast chemistry that’s made it an obsession of critics and fans alike. This season, conflicted con-man Neal Caffrey walks a dangerous line between good and evil – does he deserve to be free? The suspense of last season’s disturbing cliffhanger, paired with the show’s sharp humor, complexity and timeless New York aesthetic make this a must-see for the new year.

Does Neal get caught with the treasure? Will Mozzie leave Neal and go on his own? What happens to Elizabeth Burke kidnap? (You can read my spoilery preview of White Collar 3.5 premiere Checkmate)

FBI agent Peter Burke’s (Tim DeKay) world crumbled to pieces in the summer finale of “White Collar” when he found out Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) was in possession of the stolen Nazi treasure — and his wife Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) was kidnapped because of it.  Now with an uncertain future and both his personal and professional life at stake, questions abound: what will Peter do?  What has happened to Elizabeth?  And will Neal choose a side?  Season three of “White Collar” promises to return with six edge-of-your seat episodes starting January 17 2012 10/9 C.

The upcoming episodes feature the directorial debut of series star DeKay and appearances of such guest stars as Joe Manganiello, Dylan Baker, Beau Bridges, Tom Skerritt, Hal Ozsan, Ross McCall, Diahann Carroll, Elizabeth Gillies, Graham Phillips, Lola Glaudini, Will Chase, Murphy Guyer, Tom Degnan, Bailey Chase and Debra Monk.
