And now, USA, fresh from renewing Suits, has also renewed In Plain Sight for season five.
Season five renewal for In Plain Sight by USA also marks the last season for the show, that will end after the next run.
The renewal for In Plain Sight season five will be the last, and will last eight episodes. “We’ve built a contract with the audience and want to give them a sense of closure,” USA Network co-president Jeff Wachtel said in an interview with Variety.
Season four of In Plain Sight has been steady and even the finale gained up 6% in the key demos ratings. So they are announcing a last season, just exactly as they did with Law & Order Criminal Intent and Monk; once again confirming that USA is a network that respects the shows like no other. Let´s remember that they have a perfect record of freshman series getting renewed, and they´ll keep the record soon when they make it official about the renewal of Necessary Roughness.
