We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.
This fall season, a lot of shows are falling like crazy. NBC already cancelled Outlaw, ABC Family cancelled Huge, Fox cancelled Lone Star, ABC cancelled My Generation, and also cancelled The Whole Truth, and MTV cancelled The City in its second season, and HBO cancelled Big Love at its fifth.
Some are getting renewed, since HBO renews Eastbound & Down for season three, and also renews Bored to Death for season three and TLC renewed Sister Wives.
And, in this case bad news for Undercovers fans and JJ Abrams fans too, since NBC cancelled Undercovers by not ordering any new episode beyond the first thirteen episode order placed for the show.
NBC cancellation on Undercovers should not be such a surprise, since the show has been failing in the ratings department, even getting to the lowest numbers yet last episode, when it hit 1.3 in the coveted 18-49 demo.
The already finished next three episodes of Undercovers will air until December, when fat of the remaining episodes will be determined, since the show started filming Episode 12 this week.
What is Undercovers About? Plot
Undercovers is an American action spy television series created by J. J. Abrams and Josh Reims for NBC. They were executive producers of the pilot along with Abrams’ frequent collaborator Bryan Burk. On May 3, 2010 Undercovers was officially ordered to series by NBC for a fall premiere, Wednesdays at 8/7c. Undercovers premiered on Wednesday, September 22, making it the second spy series produced by J.J. Abrams since Alias. Undercovers was cancelled in November 2010.

Undercovers is one of my favs this year. Sorry to see it go. Very talented actors.
That really makes me sad. That was my favorite new show! I love the actors and I love the whole spy thing Tv is getting so gory. I use to like criminal minds but too much serial type killing that freakS me out. Undercovers had suspense, action and a steamy relationship between a MARRIED couple. You just don’t see that anymore on tv. Shame on tne networks who have once again failed us. And they wonder why our kids are growing up too fast. PLEASE LET ANOTHER NETWORK PICK IT UP!!!! I AM SOOOO DISAPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe it!I love Undercovers. The stars are gorgeous & the show is awesome. I teach a class that nite but I record it faithfully to watch on weekends. And Outlaw is cancelled? What are the networks thinking? Give Jimmy Smits a break! This will be the 2nd show of his canceled. Both were great. TVOne, Please pick both of them up!
I love the show Undercovers. I am a faithful fan and I watch every week. To see the two main characters interact on the show has been amazing. Could not have asked for a better show. Why is it the network executives never listen to the fans. Ratings on shows are a joke. They leave garbage on and always cancel the good shows.
I really won’t be watching NBC now. First they canned Heroes and
now that I start watching Undercovers look what has happened.
I am EXTREMELY SADDENED to hear that Undercovers is cancelled. I have never looked forward to Wednesdays so much(except for Bible Study!)until this show emerged. I think that this show has some dynamic actors, who effortlessly collaborate to bring a wonderfully, vibrant tone to the show. Someone mentioned romance between a married couple as a possible reason for the dismantling of the show, which is unfortunate and probably true. If there is a petition to bring the show, please let me know, I will be the first to sign my name. I pray that Undercovers reinvents itself as a 2nd season next fall!
I was shocked by the removal of Undercovers. It is smart slick (in a positive way. Two beautiful actors who seemed to enjoy the plot and their rolls. I dare to ask the question if they are sexy beautiful Aferican Americans if this was the basis of the removal. Very sad
Sad, I was hoping to see many more episodes of undercovers, I recorded it on my DVR. 🙁
THIS SOO SAD YOU GET A EXCELLENT SHOW WITH GOOD ACTORS and acting, AND THEY dump it. In a way it reminded me of Hart to Hart. First time I saw two African Americans in lead roles, hope that wasn’t the reason . But what do we know as viewers, we thought it would last.

I was so disappointed to hear that Undercovers was being cancelled. I looked forward to this show every week and am loving it. How can we keep it on air???
i am so sad about this show being cancelled. i loved it and dvr it every week. when it wasnt on tonight i feared the worst. hopefully another network picks it up.
Loved Undercovers! Sexy but clean, good working relationship between husband and wife, witty, exciting, adventuresome, gosh guys! Why would you cancel something so fun?
This is an excellent show. We need more shows that depict love between a man and woman, and minorities in positive roles. I hope they reconsider taking this off the air. The storyline rt to the sister, was a bit much, and there was a bit of codependency there. It needed more development, and perhaps other family could have been the focus. Overall, it is a great show, one of my favorites and I hope they don’t cancell it.

I love this show. I don’t think NBC gave it much of a chance. Nor did they do much on promoting the program as well. Excellent writing, great actors and finally a show that doesn’t involve language, sex or immorality. A family show for everyone to enjoy, full of excitement! I think they ought to reconsider like they did with Chuck!
So you think you can dance/sing/skate/whatever. how about those of us who just want to be entertained with Undercovers? weren”t you being a bit premature to cancel it? While leaving much-less-entertaining shows on? So much for NBC!
Loved it. Really bummed to see it go. Totally agree that it was an enjoyable, refreshing show for the family.
I know its about ratings…but this was a good demonstration of a culturally diverse hip successful couple that was going to go along way showing the non-caucasian communities heros they could emulate.
It was fast paced like Burn Notice and the interaction of the couple was delightful.
Really sorry it got the ax. I hoped NBC would rise above the ratings madness and allow good quality TV to take hold….it needed more promotion.
