The Good Wife is an American legal drama, which premiered on CBS on September 22, 2009. The series was created by Robert and Michelle King, and stars Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski, and Chris Noth. The Kings are executive producing with brothers Ridley and Tony Scott, Charles McDougall and David W. Zucker. On October 7, 2009, CBS gave the series a full-season pickup, extending the first season from 13 to 22 episodes, later extended to 23 episodes. On January 14, 2010 CBS renewed the drama for a second season.

    It is never boring when you think of the conflicts that the main actor (actress) faces every day. For all the casualness of relationships these days,much praise should go to how she still hews at keeping the family peace. There are three generations at play in the main family, all very human. Margulies’characterization is amply enigmatic.
