Big Love is on its final season, and a new episode is just around the corner. This one calle The Noose Tightens, and I have a whole bunch of spoilers, teaser videos from Big Love episode S05E08 The Noose Tightens.

We recently learned that Ginnifer Goodwin will still be on our televisions soon after Big Love ends, since she has been cast as the lead in ABC’s new drama pilot Once Upon a Time, where she will be portraying Snow White. It´s not the real fairy tale deal, but more in the lines of a strange kind of Lost-esque way to find those fairy tales in a little town in Maine.

But now to the point. Big Love spoilers!

Preview and Sneak Peeks: Watch Big Love Final Season Episode 47 Teasers

We already told you this was Big Love´s final season. And the show is planning on leaving with a bang. When the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated series Big Love premieres it fifth and final season,  Sunday, January 16 at 9pm on HBO as we learn about the fates of Bill and his three wives – Barb, Nicki and Margene.

I have some teaser videos for this weekend´s episode, number 47.

Big Love S05E03 Recap: Certain Poor Shepards

When the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated series Big Love premiered a new episode,  Sunday, January 30th at 9pm on HBO as we learn about the fates of Bill and his three wives – Barb, Nicki and Margene.

In this episode, The Henricksons try to put on a unified face during Christmas, but are tested amidst numbing revelations from Barb, Marge and Adaleen. Meanwhile, Lura takes drastic measures in response to Alby´s zealous efforts to “purify” the compound; Lois drifts towards the deep end; Bill tries to soften up a senator; Ben bonds with Heather; and Cara Lynn looks for answers about her father.

Big Love S05E03 Certain Poor Shepards recap videos leave me psyched about the show, and wanting next episode of Big Love to come as fast as possible.

And as you can see in it, it surely feels like a farewell ride´s ahead of us.

You know that a week that has not one or two, not even three, but four shows premiering on HBO is going to be a good week.

And this week HBO premieres Real Time with Bill Maher, Funny or Die Presents and The Ricky Gervais Show tonight, and also Big Love on Tuesday.

Big Love Contest Giveaway – Runs until January 16th

Preview: Watch Big Love Final Season Premiere on January 16th HBO

We already told you this was Big Love´s final season. And the show is planning on leaving with a bang. When the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated series Big Love premieres it fifth and final season,  Sunday, January 16 at 9pm on HBO as we learn about the fates of Bill and his three wives – Barb, Nicki and Margene.

Executive Producer Gary Goetzman is confident on the verge of promising by saying “We believe this final season of Big Love will be the best ever.”

And I mean, it´s not at all easy match with the previous seasons. (Season three being my personal favourite).

And as you can see in it, it surely feels like a farewell ride´s ahead of us.

Cancelled and Renewed Shows 2010: Big Love cancelled, ends at Season 5

We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.

This fall season, a lot of shows are falling like crazy. NBC already cancelled Outlaw, ABC Family cancelled Huge, Fox cancelled Lone Star, ABC cancelled My Generation, and also cancelled The Whole Truth, and MTV cancelled The City in its second season.

Some are getting renewed, since HBO renews Eastbound & Down for season three, and also renews Bored to Death for season three.

But in this case, HBO cancels Big Love after its fifth season. Should it count as a cancellation or not?

I´m still not sure. Fortunately the show will have a full closure season, and maybe it will end as planned, same thing as Friends, Lost, Seinfeld and Six Feet Under(to name a few), shows that had their run and planned ahead for the ending.

Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer will write the closer as the series’ finale.

As Deadline.com reported, “It has been an honor and pleasure to work with series creators Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer on this unique and provocative series, and I’m happy that they will be able to bring the story to its close the way they always envisioned,” HBO’s president of programming Michael Lombardo said. “We look forward with great anticipation to collaborating with Mark and Will on their next venture.” Olsen and Scheffer are working on a new project for the pay cable network, which will be announced shortly.

Many people and Big Love fans were estranged with season four of the show, and therefore I don´t see much surprise in the fact that HBO cancels Big Love, but, the show had three quite solid seasons, even earning some Emmy Awards love.

What is Big Love About? – Plot

Big Love is an American television drama on HBO about a fictional fundamentalist Mormon family in Utah who practice polygamy. Big Love stars Bill Paxton, Chloë Sevigny, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Ginnifer Goodwin, Harry Dean Stanton, Amanda Seyfried, Douglas Smith, Grace Zabriskie, and Matt Ross. It premiered in the United States on March 12, 2006 following the sixth-season premiere of the popular HBO series The Sopranos. The second season aired in 2007 and the third season began airing January 18, 2009 in the U.S. and Canada.

The show was co-created by Mark Olsen and Will Schefferl, who also serve as executive producers. Olsen and Scheffer spent almost three years researching the premise of the show, with the intent of creating a fair portrayal of polygamy in America without being judgmental. The series’ theme song is “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys; the musical score for the series is composed by David Byrne. The score for the first season was composed by Mark Mothersbaugh.
It was announced on February 4, 2009, that Big Love has been renewed by HBO for a fourth season.
