Big Bang Theory Spoilers or not spoiler. Romance not happening

big bang theory spoiler penny sheldon romance not happeningFor all those Big Bang Theory fans, who are craving for some Penny Sheldon romance, Chuck Lorre, series creator says it´s not going to happen.

So, it´s kind of a not spoiler of Big Bang Theory.

He told Michael Ausiello the following:

“Part of what’s wonderful and unique about Sheldon is he has chosen not to play in the relationship game either way — heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, any sexuality. He has said, ‘This is not for me. I’m a scientist. All I’m interested in is science and what George Lucas thinks.’ We’ve stumbled into creating a character who has chosen a lifestyle for himself that is unique. And I don’t see any reason to modify it.”

So. I guess this is quite better this way. Now it´s time for Penny and Leonard to call it quits, right? And we get the best Big Bang Theory.

Dexter Season Finale Spoilers!

dexter season finale spoilersI didn´t want to give too much away on the title. But if you don´t want to be spoiled. Leave this post right now, and visit something else here, like for instance The 40 worst movies of the decade.

Going back to what´s important for this posting…

Dexter season finale spoiler:

Let´s see…

Debra knows Dexter´s true identity and how he was related to the Ice Truck Killer… and how he is the son of Laura Moser, her father´s mistress…

Ok, maybe that´s too much, that´s something we know…

Debra will be finding out that Laura Moser was Brian´s Mother (A.K.A. The Ice Truck Killer).

So, after the cliffhanger for next season, we´ll be left uncertain wether Debra finds out the rest I said earlier.

Also, as I said on the title… it´s Dexter Season Finale Spoilers, not Dexter season Finale spoiler, so as you may know, there´s still something:

Christine, Trinity´s daughter was not last seen on the show in the previous episode when she committed suicide… it´s still unknown how we´ll be seeing her… but she plays a role on the Season Finale of Dexter.

Grey´s Anatomy Spoiler: Who is Alex Karev´s One Night Stand?

alex karev having an affaire lover on grey anatomySo, things are not going all so well between Izzie and Alex on Grey´s Anatomy. Some say they will be getting a divorce, even.

But, what we could get as scoop is that on the next episode of Grey´s Anatomy Alex Karev is going to have a one night stand.

According to Michael Ausiello, there are five girls with the potential of being Alex Karev´s lover:

Reed (odds: 1-5): It makes sense that Karev would choose to work through his pain with the brash Mercy West-er, who has been undressing Alex with her eyes for weeks. But if Chambers’ claim (that the other woman’s identity will cause our heads to spin) proves true, it won’t be Reed. And if it is, Chambers hasn’t been watching his show very closely this season.

Lexie (odds: 1-2): They had a brief tryst in the past, so it stands to reason that Alex might once again play doctor with ‘lil Grey. And from Lexie’s perspective, what better distraction from all the McDaughter drama than another roll in the hay with a former Calvin Klein model?

Addison (odds: 3-1): It also wouldn’t be the first time Karev visited Le Bed Montgomery, but — as previously reported — Addison will have her hands full helping out Mark. And girlfriend has only so many hands.

Cristina (odds: 9-2): Should Hunt get busy with ex-love Teddy, Cristina might be out for a little revenge of her own. But why would she pick Alex when she’s already got another MD (i.e. Dr. Avery) ready, more than willing, and (we’re just assuming here) extremely able?

Meredith (odds: 7:1): Shonda Rhimes has said that Der-Mer’s upcoming troubles would be work-related, not personal. And we’re going to take her at her word.

Miranda (odds 15-1): Grey’s writers have been anything but subtle about Miranda’s rocky personal life. And Chambers did say the choice would shock people. Well, this would shock me!

My personal feeling is that he´s missing one of the possible bigger twists… what would happen if Rebecca, Jane Doe were to come back to Grey´s Anatomy?

What do you think about this? Alex Karev having a fling?

Complete Recap and Spoilers of House MD S06E02 Epic Fail

Last night a new episode of House MD aired, and we already talked about how to download House MD S06E02 Epic Fail

Now it´s time to see this:

Complete Recap and Spoilers of House MD S06E02 Epic Fail

We begin with video game designers working “inside” their soon-to-be-released virtual game. Boss Vince doesn’t participate in the test-run. They other guys find him sitting on a couch staring at his hands: “My hands – they’re on fire.”

After Thirteen tells Vince he doesn’t have carpal tunnel syndrome and his blood work is clean, Vince learns that the master diagnostician no longer works at the hospital: House told Foreman and Cuddy that it is in his best mental health interest to move over to research. “I just can’t risk coming back here,” he tells them. House leaves the room and Foreman asks for House’s job. She wants to move him to neurology and dismantle the department, “there aren’t departments of Diagnostic Medicine, we have that department because we had House, but now…”Foreman talks her into giving him “one shot.”

The three remaining members of the department – Foreman, Thirteen and Taub start with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome as a diagnosis for Vince and order up a spinal stimulation.

Vince is a take-charge patient, using the internet to come up with other diagnostic possibilities. He suggests they give him a blood test for mercury poisoning.

Foreman moves into House’s office. Cameron asks about House and lets Foreman know his team is not doing the spinal stimulation. Foreman is upset Thirteen and Taub did the blood test (which does not reveal any poisoning) without consulting him.

House tells Nolan he is having mixed feelings about his decision and is having trouble with leg pain. Nolan thinks he needs a hobby. He asks house what Wilson likes to do.

Vince wants them to lower his mercury levels instead of the spinal stimulation. When Foreman threatens to stop treating Vince, the patient gives in. During the stimulation Vince has severe chest pains and his lungs fill with fluid.

It turns out Vince has a problem with one of his ventricles. They were wrong about CRP, and Foreman wonders if Vince may have a drug problem.

House tags along for Wilson’s cooking class. He makes numerous bon mots about Wilson’s (meat) balls. He seems to be a natural at cooking using his deductive reasoning skills and knowledge of Organic Chemistry.

Foreman apologizes to Vince, who found pictures of Foreman and Thirteen online and knows they are an item. Vince says he has been clean from drugs for 12 years.

Thirteen convinces Foreman he will be fine doing things his own way. He made them a dinner reservation for seven when she wants to go at eight. Forman barks out, “I made it for seven,” and this order to appear on his time table seems to bother her.

Cuddy comes over to see House (who is staying with Wilson in Amber’s apartment) to make sure she isn’t the reason he quit. He assures her she is not while making a pork Gnocci.

While testing Vince’s game, Thirteen and Taub share their issues with Foreman as boss.

All the birds in the game make Thirteen wonder if Vince has Psittacosis. When he tells her he has had an erection for three hours she knows that could not the case.

Thirteen wonders if Vince might have a brain tumor. Foreman goes with his guess, Thrombocytosis.

Thirteen tells Foreman she was upset he didn’t ask her to dinner. They find two doctor’s in Vince’s room, the result of a request he made on the online. One of the two suggests a brain tumor, which Foreman is strongly against. Thirteen allows for the brain tumor possibility and Vince wants an MRI scheduled.

House has been obsessively cooking instead of sleeping. He can’t sleep because of his leg and has been cooking to avoid looking for vicodin.

Thirteen and Foreman continue to struggle with their new relationship. Vince’s MRI is clean.

Thirteen goes to see House. She mentions the patient in passing and asks what to do with Foreman. He suggests she should occasionally give-in. As House asks her to try his food she goes slightly orgasmic at “the best thing that’s ever been in my mouth, even better than what you’re thinking about.” House seems to be able to give Chef Boy-r-dee a run for his money.

Wilson comes home to find House has given up on the cooking.

House tells Nolan he’s gotten bored with cooking and that his leg is killing him. He is worried nothing will make his leg feel better. Nolan tells House to try something else.

Forman and Thirteen make nicey. Their make-up sex is interrupted by word that Vince’s lymph nodes are grotesquely swollen. Vince is now offering a $25,000 reward online for anyone who can find what is wrong with him.

We see House find a pill bottle in one of his shoes.

Vince wants them to test for amyloidosis, the most popular condition listed online.

Wilson notices House isn’t using his cane.

After telling Foreman that a test reveals Vince may have amyloidosis, Taub says he’s quitting. He thinks Foreman is doing a good job, but he came to the hospital to work with House.

Wilson managed to collect some of House’s urine by rigging one of the toilets. The test revealed it was Labrador Retriever urine.

Thirteen finds Vince not in his room. The sweaty patient is wandering through the lobby, hallucinating that everything around him is part of his video game. Forman and Thirteen get him to the ground. “Amyloidosis wouldn’t do this,” Foreman says.

They place the feverish Vince in a cold tub and Thirteen wonders if they should consult the internet suggestions. Foreman says no. Foreman tells Vince they think he has light-chain deposition disease, which cause proteins to build up in the organs. That would mean starting a dangerous round of chemotherapy. Vince says he trusts Foreman’s judgment.

Wilson and Cuddy confront House about his drug use. House says he was just screwing with them and pees in a coffee mug to provide a sample.

Getting out of the shower, Foreman spots the prunes on his fingers and rushes to Vince’s room. He wants Thirteen to stop chemo and tells her Vince has Fabry disease. Thirteen already knew that because (and had stopped chemo) that morning someone posted conclusive evidence why it had to be Fabry’s.

Foreman is officially named head of the department. Thirteen apologizes for going behind his back. Foreman doesn’t think she should have had to feel bad and fires her in order to save the relationship.

House shows Nolan a $25,000 check and confesses that he was the one who solved Vince’s case by posting online. It was solving the case that made his leg stop hurting. Nolan thinks diagnostic medicine might be the key to House getting better: “The only thing worse for you than going back to diagnostic medicine is not going back.” “I guess we’re going to find out,” House says.

Complete Recap and Spoilers of Project Runway S06E01 Season Premiere

Welcome to a new (and improved?) season of ‘Project Runway,’ featuring Heidi, Tim and a cast of aspiring designers you’ll likely come to adore and/or despise.

We first meet Ra’mon, a former neurosurgery student who decided to give up doctoring to pursue a career in fashion. Next is Logan, who claims to be “a guy’s guy, I guess.” We guess. Johnny, meanwhile, is former meth addict. “It was probably the darkest time in my life,” he tells the camera. Probably? Our first lady is Gordana, who originally hails from Yugoslavia. Carol and Qristyl are next — the latter describing her clothes as “plus sexy” instead of plus size. You go girl. Nicholas “the feather prince” Putvinski hopes to make it to the final three, if no win the whole darn thing. Christopher is the relative odd man out as he hails from Minnesota. Althea, a blonde from Dayton, also represents the Midwest. And so on and so forth. Sixteen players in all.

The designers head to the roof where Heidi and Tim await. “The 16 of you have proven that you have the talent and passion to be standing here,” Tim says. He then explains that the group will be working out of the FIDM, the “leading fashion institution of this city.” This city being Los Angeles, by the way (sorry New York!). Time for a champagne toast. “Project Runway!” Heidi squeals. Somehow, the glasses do not shatter.

The next morning, Tim welcomes the contestants to the red carpet outside the Emmy Awards. Seeing said carpet makes the whole thing “real,” according to Irina. The first challenge: design a red-carpet dress for a pre-assigned model. First comes the sketching. “What if we don’t sketch?” Ari asks. She prefers to “meditate” on the design. Second is shopping for material, which Ari thankfully does. Third is execution, which will continue until the midnight deadline. The cutting, sewing and smocking begins. “I feel like I’m completely lost and this has never happened to me before,” Johnny whines. He tells the camera that he already wants to “throw in towel” — before the very first commercial break, mind you.

When we come back from that break, Johnny is doing no better. In fact, he is sitting on a couch outside the work area, hugging a pillow and crying. Tim arrives to help. “Are you being too hard on you?” he asks. Answers Johnny: “I just don’t want to fail again … I feel emotionally obliterated.” They hug it out and Johnny suddenly becomes a new man. He charges back into the work room and starts designing. “Tim’s a God,” Johnny tells his fellow competitors. None disagree. Midnight hits. Time for bed.

The next morning, Christopher points out that he doesn’t have the education to “pleat or make a bustle.” The Minnesota native has had to learn everything for himself. Tim enters the workroom and eyes Christopher’s creation. “Not styled correctly, this could go cruise-line cocktail waitress,” Tim warns. He then moves onto Ari, who is making a halter dress with a hood. Tim wonders whether it will look like a “halter diaper.” One can only hope. Tim makes a few more witty comments and then sends in the models. Once again, the contestants have until midnight to finish. But will that be enough time?

One excruciatingly long commercial break later, the men and women arrive at the work room and Mitchell discovers that his model is “five inches” bigger than she was yesterday. In other words, he has to all but start over. “He’s basically sending a nude model down the runway,” Johnny says of Mitchell’s sheer dress. Hair and makeup later, Tim gives the ol’ 10-minute warning. The designers scramble to finish and JUST make the deadline. The whole gang then heads to the runway, where Heidi appears and delivers the line that we’ve waited so very long to hear squeaked out once again: “As you know in fashion, one day you’re in and the next day, you’re out.” So true, Heidi so very, very true. She then introduces the Sweet 16 to judges Michael and Nina. Now, America, are you sitting down? Good — because the guest judge is none other than Lindsay Lohan! “Actress, singer and designer of her own line,” Heidi explains. Let the show begin!

Not surprisingly, all of the contestants seem to love their own creations. Or almost all. “The minute she turns around is when things get a little bit iffy,” Mitchell admits. To illustrate the point, we get a good shot of Nina squinting at the glorfied nighty. Christopher, in the meantime, is so overwhelmed by his design that he begins to cry. Incredibly, the judges remain dry eyed. The show ends and Heidi asks the following contestants to step forward: Shirin, Epperson, Gordana, Carol, Logan, Althea, Nicolas, Irina, Malvin and Louise. “Congratulations — your scores have qualified you to move onto the next round,” Heidi says. Those remaining have the three highest and three lowest scores. Qristyl explains that her dress was designed for someone like Miley Cyrus or Lindsay Lohan to wear to the Emmys. The judges like the back of the dress, but that’s about it. “The front is a mess,” Heidi says. Michael calls the creation “schizophrenic.” Christopher says his model is going to the VMAs. Heidi calls it is “hip and young,” while Michael considers it “edgy.”

Ra’mon’s Oscar gown is a bit hit all around, earning adjectives such as “respectable” and “chic.” Ari explains that her oddball ensemble is for the VMAs in “like, 2080.” “She looks like a disco soccer ball,” Michael says of Ari’s model. Huh? “It’s out there,” Nina explains. “But I appreciate the fact that you have a very conceptual process for design.” Johnny, in the meantime, was going for a movie premiere in the 1920s. Lindsay finds the low back “very sexy,” although she doesn’t love the blazing red color. The judges acknowledge that Mitchell’s dress has been thrown together — more a “cool nightgown” than a red-carpet dress, according to Michael. So who stays and who goes?

Johnny is in. Christopher is not only in, but he is also the winner of the challenge. He immediately begins crying — again. Ramon is in, as is Qristyl. That leaves Ari and Mitchell. “One of you will be out,” Heidi explains. Thanks, Heidi. “Mitchell … you’re in,” Heidi says. But wait, Heidi, what does that mean for Ari!? “That means, Ari, you’re out,” our intrepid host states. Sad hugs all around. “Taking risks can be a good thing, but you have to take risks responsibly,” Ari tells the camera.

Until next week, America.

Grey´s Anatomy Spoiler: Are Meredith and Derek Breaking Up?

Grey´s Anatomy Spoiler: Are Meredith and Derek Breaking Up?Some rumours are floating around regarding Meredith Grey getting less screen time next season of Grey´s Anatomy, but that has nothing to do with a Mer-Der Break Up… it has to do with Ellen Pompeo´s pregnancy, and maternity leave.

As exec producer Krista Vernoff said to Michael Ausiello “I think we would be irresponsible writers if we didn’t give a woman who’s seven-months pregnant a little less time on her feet, she’s waddling around seven-months pregnant about to push a baby out of her body. We have a responsibility to alleviate her screen time a little bit.

It would be false to say that Mer and Der are no longer the focus of the series,” she says. “Derek and Mer will always be a focus of the series.”

So, all of you Mer-Der fans. Don´t worry Derek Shepherd and Meredith Grey will still be a couple next season of Grey´s Anatomy.

Complete Recap and Spoilers of America´s Got Talent S04E17 Quarterfinals

The third batch of 12 quarterfinalists squared off Tuesday night on “America’s Got Talent.”

So far, 10 semifinalists have been chosen, and this week would result in another five getting their semifinal tickets punched.

Host Nick Cannon first addressed last week’s controversial decision in which David Hasselhoff and Sharon Osbourne picked a Frisbee-catching dog act over soulful singer Charles DeWayne, who Piers Morgan preferred. Sharon defended her choice, saying the show is about variety and that a singer in this show has to be “brilliant” because “Talent” is more than a singing show.

FootworKINGz on America´s Got Talent:

The Chicago-based dance crew came out with glow-in-the-dark sneakers on that highlighted just how perfectly synced they were with one another. Piers said he couldn’t decide if they were “one of the best” dance acts the show’s had, or “the best.” Sharon loved it all. Hasselhoff said it was “Hoff the charts” and wondered how they would top it next week. Nick noted that one of the dancers hurt himself in the previous night’s rehearsal, but he appeared to be fine for the live performance.

Marcus Terrell (and the Serenades?) on America´s Got Talent:

Singer Marcus Terrell was told in the previous round of the competition that his backup singers were keeping him from moving on into the quarterfinals. The judges had given him the green light alone, but Marcus went and found three new backup singers, including one that showed up two nights earlier. Sharon said Marcus was “fabulous,” and said Marcus was the kind of different and special singer the competition needed. The Hoff said they were right to have Marcus fire his other backup singers and said they could go on to “Vegas and more.” Piers said it was big pressure for Marcus on a night when he could either sink or swim, and “boy, did you swim.”

Pixie Mystere on America´s Got Talent:

Gymnastics and contortion specialists Pixie Mystere lit up the stage with their high-energy choreography and flips and big finish that included one of the young girls flipping over another. The Hoff asked them “how do you feel about going to school in Las Vegas?” Piers said he was disappointed he hadn’t hit his buzzer once through three acts. He said he enjoyed that the girls came back and gave a strong routine. Sharon said “Pixie power” is magic. She said they delivered a “total package.”

Jay Mattioli on America´s Got Talent:

One of the acts that was originally cut, magician Jay Mattioli received a second chance at the quarterfinals and said he wanted to make the most of it. Piers buzzed Jay just over halfway through, and Sharon gave a second buzzer a second before Jay made a fluffy dog appear inside a box. Piers said he’d seen it all before, “it’s what we call end of the pier stuff in Britain.” Sharon agreed, saying “it’s the same old, same old that we’ve seen forever.” The Hoff said he wasn’t sure if it was big enough for Vegas, but “good job.”

Bri on America´s Got Talent:

Keyboardist and singer Bri, 17, said she dreamed of being in a big show in her hometown of Las Vegas. This was her chance. Sitting at a grand piano, she started a slowed down version of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” before picking up the tempo halfway in and giving a big, running finish. Sharon said it was brave of Bri to take on such a song and make it her own, and she succeeded. The Hoff liked that she made it her own and said “it all worked for me.” Piers said not much excites him these days, but her act excited him. He said her unique style was on par with some of today’s bigger pop acts and “you have got exactly the right package for the right time.”

U4IA Dance Crew on America´s Got Talent:

Another second-chance act, the U4IA Dance Crew vowed to bring something bigger and different for the quarterfinals. The Hoff said he loved it, “I don’t know why.” Piers called out one of the dancers and said she was scary “in a great way.” He said they were the first wild-card act that he was really pleased to have seen. He added that the dancing this season has been “unbelievable.” Sharon said she loved the routine, but she wasn’t sure if they were the best dancers, “technically,” that she’s seen.

Dave Johnson on America´s Got Talent:

Loan officer turned “David Hasselhoff song guy” from the audition round Dave Johnson took a chance to bring something different to the stage. Dave said this was his second time performing in front of more than 20 people, and it didn’t last long. Piers and Sharon buzzed him not too long into his ode to “The Golden Girls,” and The Hoff followed a little later to kill Dave’s performance. “I guess the judges don’t like ‘The Golden Girls,’” Nick Cannon said. Piers said he didn’t get it, “it just wasn’t funny.” Sharon said “it’s just not my thing.” The Hoff said “it’s just not going to make it to the next round.”

Hairo Torres on America´s Got Talent:

Breakdancer and contortionist Hairo Torres wanted to prove that a single dancer could sustain an entire show. he knew that in order to achieve that he had to prove he could do things other people couldn’t. Sharon said he was unique, but she still didn’t know if he could go and do it on his own. The Hoff said Hairo was “the weirdest dancer” he’d ever seen. Piers agree, “you are a bit strange,” but “you are also very entertaining and the crowd loved you tonight.” Piers told him to think about the choreography and how he would adjust it for a 90-minute show in Las Vegas.

G-Force on America´s Got Talent:

The three sisters wanted to show the world they “could be the girl version of The Jonas Brothers.” Just over halfway into their rendition of Katy Perry’s “Hot n Cold,” Piers buzzed them. “What type of ogre buzzes three little girls?” Nick wondered. The Hoff said they were always his favorite from the beginning. He admitted they “were off a little bit on the vocals,” but they have a major career ahead of them. Piers said he loved them, the guitar playing and the drumming, and agreed that the singing was way off. Sharon also agreed, saying their audition was better than this performance.

Jeffrey Ou on America´s Got Talent:

The teenage pianist said he was going to come alive on stage, and he did. After opening his performance with some classical piano, he jumped into “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting,” but it included a bit of a technical problem because the sound went out on his piano. The Hoff said he couldn’t really comment on the piano because he couldn’t hear it, but he noted that Jeffrey didn’t need the dancers he used. Piers said he thought it was good that Jeffrey took himself out of his comfort zone. Nick explained that one of Jeffrey’s dancers actually kicked the cable out of his piano. Sharon said she preferred Jeffrey’s “Mad Professor” vibe from earlier in the competition.

Mario & Jenny on America´s Got Talent:

The daredevil fire act cranked up the heat with a dramatic and dangerous routine that included guitars and more ablaze. Sharon said she loved it. The Hoff said “every time you come, you come to play.” He said they were even better Tuesday night than they’d been before. Piers said it was a very tough night to vote and called it “as near to a Vegas act as we’ve seen.”

Lawrence Beamen on America´s Got Talent:

The deep-voiced singer who wowed the judges in the audition round came back to prove it was no fluke. Sharon said Lawrence’s voice was “smooth like velvet.” The Hoff said he felt sorry for everyone else in the competition because if Lawrence kept singing like that he could win the competition. Piers said Lawrence was the best of the night and called him “a rare talent” and “the new Barry White.” He said Lawrence was “the nearest thing to a guaranteed, nailed-down star we have produced on this show for a very long time.”

Complete Recap and Spoilers of The Closer S05E11 – Maternal Instincts

Brenda drives sullen Charlie. She’s peeved at her aunt for taking her iPod and cell phone. Brenda waits to hear her apologize for the pot brownie incident. Charlie gives a lame attempt.

Then they notice teenagers running by them. Charlie asks one what’s going on. Someone’s shooting in the parking lot. Brenda parks and tells Charlie to keep her head down and stay in the car. Brenda gets out and calmly walks toward the school with her gun drawn as students run by her.

She finds one boy dead in the parking lot and another bleeding under a car. He sees her and asks for help. His name’s Jake and he’s shot in the gut. She gives him her sweater to press against the wound. Brenda stands up to look for the ambulance and hears someone behind her. She whirls around, pointing her gun. It’s Charlie. Then two officers are upon them, guns drawn. She identifies herself and calls the team as Charlie looks at bleeding Jake.

Later with the ambulance there, Brenda tells a deputy to bring Charlie and to follow them in her car to the hospital.

At the hospital, Jake asks for his mom and Brenda promises to be there when he wakes up.

Flynn and Provenza are with Charlie in the waiting room. She wants to know how Jake is doing, but Brenda moves away from her niece. Proflynnza tells Brenda that the victim, Tomas, had a backpack full of pot. Charlie hears this and Brenda shoots her a look.

The only person witnesses saw with a gun was Brenda.

Brenda looks around and doesn’t see her niece. After a few seconds, she comes back, saying she had to go to the bathroom. Brenda barks at her that she doesn’t care and she told her to stay put, just like when she told her to stay in the car. She says she could have shot her. She cuts Charlie off, telling her not to interrupt.

Brenda tells Charlie she gets to wait for Jake to wake up, and to think about someone other than herself.

Back at the station, they learn that Tomas’ older brother was in a gang, but Tomas wasn’t. They found five .9 mm casings, spaced apart. The shooter was running, or in a car. Brenda wants Tomas’ older brother Oscar there for the notification.

She talks to his parents and the brother. His mom says the backpack wasn’t his. Brenda hasn’t told them he’s dead yet. They say he had a job in a coffee shop. They ID his car, and she tells them he bought it with cash. The parents insist they have the wrong person as Brenda stares down Oscar. Then she tells them he was killed. His mom immediately jumps up and starts hitting Oscar, saying he should have been the one who died and he got Tomas killed.

Oscar leaves. Sanchez steps in front of him to stop him with his death stare, but Brenda tells him to let him leave.

In the car, Fritz questions the wisdom of leaving Charlie in the ER by herself after she saw shooting victims. Brenda explains she wanted Charlie to see what happens when a drug deal goes bad.

They arrive at the hospital, to find Jake out of surgery and talking to his “sister,” a nurse says. It’s Charlie. He asks her to come back, she says yes, but she has to check the schedule. In the hallway, Brenda asks for clarification. Charlie told the nurses she was his sister because they only let family in and Jake knew she wasn’t, so she said she was a youth volunteer. “Oh, you two are so related,” Fritz laughs ruefully at Brenda.

Brenda talks to Jake. He says Tomas was shot first. She tells him she’s not interested in whether he bought drugs. He says he never saw the shooter’s face, he just saw someone walking away. He begs her not to tell his mom. She lies and says she talked to her (a flight attendant) and she’s coming as fast as she can (from Hanoi). Jake takes Brenda’s hand.

Later, a doctor tells her if Jake makes it through the next night, he’s got a chance. They didn’t find any bullets, only shrapnel. The bullet hit something before it entered his body.

Brenda calls Tao.

Tao and Sanchez show Provenza why there was shrapnel — the bullets bounced off the pavement before hitting Jake. The shooter was aiming for him under the car. The final bullet went over Jake on the ground and into the car’s fake gas tank, where it hit a brick of weed.

Provenza boils it down for Brenda: Jake was the target.

Brenda visits Buzz, asking if he can put a camera and mike in an ICU without being noticed. But she doesn’t plan to interview him again.

Brenda gives Charlie her iPod back so she can make the playlist she promised him.

At the hospital, Charlie and Jake share ear buds and listen to her playlist. He asks how long she can stay. The team watches the video feed from another room. Provenza pulls out an engagement ring and shows Flynn. He’s going to ask Lauren. Flynn slaps on a blood pressure cuff.

Jake tells Charlie he hopes his mom doesn’t find out about the weed. She doesn’t get why adults care so much about weed. Jake clumsily asks Charlie if she has a boyfriend and they swap stories about recent break-ups and how relationships change once you start hooking up. Brenda glowers as Charlie tells about doing it in her parents’ bedroom. Then Jake tells Charlie his ex-girlfriend Vanessa is pregnant and she dumped him. She didn’t want her dad to find out. He says her dad told him if he ever saw Jake, he’d kill him.

Brenda plays that part of the tape for Pope while Taylor tells him about Tomas’ older drug dealing brother. Brenda argues pregnant girlfriend is a better motive, but Pope points out she can’t use anything on the DVD because she got it illegally. Brenda isn’t worried, she thinks she has a great source.

Brenda comes home to find Fritz and Charlie enjoying another dinner prepared by the teen (no weed this time). Brenda starts asking Charlie about her talk with Jake, but Charlie isn’t offering anything. She tells Charlie she thinks Jake was the target, but Charlie says she doesn’t know a reason anyone would want to kill him.

Then Brenda mentions his girlfriend Vanessa and Charlie knows her aunt spied on her. Fritz doesn’t approve. Brenda has a prepared statement for Charlie to sign about what Jake says. She threatens to send the DVD to her parents if she doesn’t, then offers her her cell phone back if she does. Charlie calls her the most horrible person she’s ever met. Fritz doesn’t seem inclined to argue. Brenda says she’s trying to protect Jake. Charlie signs, but says no one believes that, including Brenda. “Including me,” Fritz adds as he gets up and leaves.

It’s the middle of the night when Charlie comes into Brenda’s room saying they have to get to the hospital, she called Jake and told him who she was and what Brenda did and the nurses said he had a bad fever. Charlie wants to go to the hospital, but Brenda promises she’ll let her know how he’s doing when she gets there. Fritz says he’ll wait up with her.

At the hospital, the doctor says Jake spoke with his mother half an hour ago, but she’s still three hours away. She says Jake’s never going to last that long. Provenza reminds her to get his permission to use the tape if she can.

Brenda sits at Jake’s bedside with her tape recorder on. At first, he thinks Brenda is his mom. He asks for Charlie. She asks permission to tape him and asks if he remembers anything else about the shooting. He saw the shooter’s feet, in tan hiking boots. He asks if Brenda has talked to his mom. Brenda says yes and tells him his mom knows about his problems with Vanessa and she still loves him, so there’s nothing to worry about. Brenda gets her last name.

Provenza steps out to call someone to look up Vanessa.

A while later, Jake wakes up and again thinks Brenda is his mom. She doesn’t correct him, telling him she loves him no matter what. He breathes uncomfortably a few times and then stops. He’s gone. Brenda lets go of his hand and cries.

Provenza says they found someone with Vanessa’s last name among the interview cards from the scene. They’re getting a warrant. He tells her to take a minute, he’ll go wait for Jake’s mom.

At Vanessa’s house, the team surrounds the house. The dad answers. When Brenda mentions Jake’s name, he tells her to come inside and talk to his daughter. He asks if Jake has raped someone else. Brenda asks pregnant Vanessa if that’s what happened. The dad says that’s what Vanessa told him and her brother. Brenda asks where his gun is. He tells her and she retrieves it. Brenda lets the team in for the search. When the dad objects, Brenda dares him to give her a reason to take him and his pregnant daughter downtown in front of the neighbors. Flynn goes to check on his son, Alex.

The dad says he was at work during the shooting and his son was home. But Brenda takes out the witness card, with his son’s name on it. He was interviewed at the scene. They find the tan hiking boots in his room. Brenda tells the dad and Vanessa that Jake was shot and just died. Alex slips by as they’re talking. Tao sees him outside and Sanchez chases after him. He and Gabriel tackle him out front.

Brenda tells the dad and Vanessa that Alex is being arrested for murder. Vanessa turns on her dad and says it’s his fault for getting Alex so mad. But Brenda says if she’d told the truth, Jake would still be alive. She cools down and walks off as Vanessa sobs, saying she has to make a notification.

At home, Brenda finds Fritz and Charlie waiting anxiously on the couch. She tells them she made an arrest, thanks to Charlie. She takes a deep breath, and starts to explain that with gunshot wounds, there’s always a chance of infection… Charlie guesses that he dies. Charlie starts crying, upset that Brenda didn’t let her say good-bye. Carefully, she says Jake had a short amount of time and she had to decide between letting Charlie say good bye and finding out who killed him. She hopes she made the right decision. She apologizes for putting her niece in that position. She tells Charlie that he asked about her, he knew she was his friend.

Fritz wraps Charlie in a hug as she cries. Brenda watches helplessly. Fritz takes her hand.
