Cancelled or Renewed? Fox renews So You Think You Can Dance for season ten

so-you-think-you-can-dance-season-ten-cancelled-renewed-sytycdWe are getting closer and closer to the end of the year, so the lists of cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012 are rounding out and nearing completion, but, as Nygel Lythgoe himself puts it, there´s a Christmas present yet to unveil, and that is the fact that Fox renewed So You Think You Can Dance for season ten of the dancing competition. Cancelled and Renewed Shows 2012: Fox cancels So You Think You Can Dance Results Show

cancelled-renewed-so-you-think-you-can-dance-results-show-foxIt´s a new year to start new lists for cancelled shows for 2012 and renewed shows for 2012.

The first one to go is a semi go, since it only involves the axing of half of the show.

Fox has cancelled So You Think You Can Dance results show, therefore leaving the dance reality competition with only one weekly airing, for Nygel Lythgoe to resolve the whole thing.

With no voting show, what will happen to the format of the show? Let´s see, there are several options. First of all, not having the audience decide the outcome.

Second of all, weekly voting, so the elimination is the first thing done in the next episode.

Third, the possibility of having an online results show to boost the buzz mid week.

Those are my two cents, and if Nygel Lythgoe cares to use any of the options, he may be my guest to do so. (Lol, like he needs my help).

But there´s going to be an action needed from him to decide what to do after Fox cancelled So You Think You Can Dance Results show.

What do you think? Are you sad Fox cancelled So You Think You Can Dance Results Show? Or it will help gain more interest? Let me know in the comments section.

Cancelled and Renewed Shows 2011: So You Think You Can Dance renewed for season nine

So-You-Think-You-Can-Dance-cancelled-renewed-season-nineGrowing lists for renewed shows on 2011 and all the cancelled shows on 2011, and they get bigger. In this case in the non scripted reality competition department, with Fox renewing So You Think You Can Dance for season nine. There was no real doubt that SYTYCD would be renewed, even after dropping numbers, because it still managed to win its hour, and is a very important addition to Fox summer schedule.

The show managed to still win all three important demos, Adults 18-49, adults 18-34, and teens, so it was no wonder when Fox annouonced renewal for So You Think You Can Dance.

Now, it will headline next summer schedule for the network, and will start the search for the next dancing superstar shortly, after they announce the cities and dates and venues for the new season´s auditions.

More Nigel Lythgoe, more Mary Murphy, more Tyce Diorio, more Sonya Tayeh, and the rest of the judges and choreographers. And probably they´ll stick to the all stars and couples mix, although that is not announced yet.

What do you think? Are you happy Fox renewed So You Think You Can Dance? Will you watch SYTYCD on Fox? Let me know in the comments section.
