CBS renews Two and a Half Men for season eleven

The Half Man is out? Or the Half is Jon Cryer´s character? Well, anyways, CBS renewed Two and a Half Men for a whopping season eleven with both Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer inked to a new season but with Angus T.Jones not attached as a series regular and maybe as a recurring character, although that is not set in stone at all just yet.

Ashton Kutcher is getting paid for the next season, as he will receive 700,000 bucks per episode. Not bad at all, huh?

CBS is renewing Two and a Half Men for season ten, after the network was able to secure a deal with the three stars Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T Jones. Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer will get 700,000 dollars per episode, and Angus T Jones will get 300,000 per. They will also get signing bonuses. Continue reading →

Well, after checking out the quotes and spoilers from How I Met Your Mother season seven premiere, and HIMYM The Naked Truth episode, we still get hung up on CBS, because the night featured something big, Two and a Half Men season nine premiere with Ashton Kutcher. As we all knew, Charlie Harper was dead, and Ashton Kutcher was playing Walden Schmidt, but that was more less the only things we knew.

Two and a Half Men Spoiler: Who is Ashton Kutcher? Walden Schmidt!

After a lot of speculation about if Charlie Harper dies or not in Two and a Half Men season opener, after several months of discussions on who was going to replace his character, and after Ashton Kutcher joined the juggernaut sitcom, the speculations moved to who was Ashton Kutcher going to play on Two and a Half Men. And at TCA Panel, CBS is unveiling that mistery: Ashton Kutcher plays Walden Schmidt.

Who is Walter Schmidt?

It is the character played by Ashton Kutcher on Two and a Half Men and he is an Internet billionaire with a broken heart.

So the thing is, why on earth would a billionaire that buys Charlie´s house let the other man and a half to live in the house? How will they find a comic rythm in a funeral episode, much less being the season opener of a filled with questions new season.

I have no doubt in my mind that the season premiere of …Men will bring great numbers, mainly for two reasons, namely everybody wants to know how will they manage the Charlie Sheen less show, and because Ashton Kutcher has a biiiig following. Thing is, what will happen after that? Is people coming back to tune after premiere? Time will tell.

Two and a Half Men Spoiler: Charlie Harper dies – Charlie Sheen´s character will die in season premiere

Well, so much of the turmoil around Two and a Half Men and Charlie Sheen… Chuck Lorre apparently, as TMZ reported, decided Charlie Harper dies on Two and a Half Men season premiere.

It´s not such a big spoiler, and it was something many expected, as a safe way for Lorre to make sure Charlie Sheen does not come back to the show ever.

In the CBS comedy’s season premiere in September, the episode will reveal that Charlie Harper has died. Among the scenarios that co-creator Chuck Lorre and the other producers are mulling include having Charlie Harper drive off a cliff and die.
Although the first show won’t be filmed until August 5, producers have been kicking around scenarios for Charlie Sheen´s character Charlie Harper´s death on Two and a Half Men, and it´s looking like Charlie drove a car over a cliff.

There could be a lot of different scenarios to part ways with Charlie Sheen that don´t involve Charlie Harper dying, but that would open the door for Charlie Sheen to come back someday, or the audiences to ask for him, and that´s something Lorre would not want at all.

Is Charlie Sheen going back to Two and a Half Men?

Everything is Charlie Sheen these days.

We learned about a meeting between Charlie Sheen and Fox but nothing came out of that other than exploration.

Charlie Sheen launched a search for a community manager too, but the second stage of the process is due April.

Melissa Rivers said she´d like to produce Charlie Sheen´s reality show, and Mark Cuban also said something in that line of thought.

Charlie Sheen is the biggest star on Twitter (the biggest growth), and Sheen got fired from Two and a Half Men leaving cancellation/ renewal status on the bubble.

Well, then what´s new?

Folks at Radar Online say CBS wants Charlie Sheen back on its Two and a Half Men, and they want him back now; CBS President and CEO Les Moonves is guiding the get back Charlie Sheen ship, and he already spoke with some executives at Warner Bros.

Thing is that it´s going to be difficult to quiet the waters between Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre. And now it´s been known Charlie Harper dies on Two and a Half Men.

If that is done then it can be a good sign for the show to come back and to have Charlie Sheen still as Two and a Half Men frontman. After all, it´s not personal… it´s business.

Cancelled and Renewed Shows 2011: What will happen to Two and a Half Men? – Charlie Sheen Fired

Update: Charlie Harper dies on Two and a Half Men.

Update: Warner Bros announced today that Charlie Sheen is fired from Two and a Half Men. Can the show continue without him? Will you watch the show if there´s only Jon Cryer in it? Who can come in?

We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011 and this one is something nobody could have seen coming at the beginning of the year. Right?

Two and a Half Men is a friggin Juggernaut, right?

Both are right… but things got a little crazy this year with Charlie Sheen. Even though those rumours about Charlie Sheen´s death were just a hoax, a lot of other things that looked like pranks were actually happening.

Charlie Sheen went on to rehab but that turned out to stirr things up a lot. And in the latest Charlie Sheen interviews, and Chuck Lorre message to Charlie Sheen, things got a little bit out of control.

As folks at EW reported, The companies are pulling the plug on the highly rated Two and a Half Men after Charlie Sheen’s shocking Thursday interviews.

Official companies statement read: “Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season”.

What will happen to Two and a Half Men?

The show is anything but cancelled so far. But there needs to be a lot of cooling down before a ninth season possibility.

After all the show´s steadily solid in the ratings winning week in and week out and even getting great numbers on repeats.

Two and a Half Men cancelled or renewed? that is the question.

So far the ball is in Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre´s court. Will they make amends?
