More info to update lists for renewed shows on 2011 and all the cancelled shows on 2011, in this case good news for the hit cable drama from creator Kurt Sutter, since FX renewed Sons of Anarchy for season five, while in the middle of the fourth season airing.
The Season 4 premiere September 6 became the most-watched program in FX history with 6.5 total viewers so, as you can figure out, this was not a tough decision for FX to renew Sons of Anarchy and give the show a fifth run.
Season five renewal order for Sons of Anarchy consists of 13 episodes and will begin production early 2012 for next year run.
FX president John Landgraf said on the statement about Sons of Anarchy renewal: “Everyone at FX is very grateful to Kurt Sutter, his many writing, directing and producing collaborators and his masterful cast for making such a compelling and beautifully crafted show. It is no small challenge to bring the themes of a great, ancient play like Hamlet into a wholly original television setting and to tell this complex story in a way that is both riveting and accessible to a broad audience.”

Why did they stop the showing of Sons of Anarchy? when will they finish this seasons show?
Your show is okay but on the other hand real life and real freaky and fearful to some degree and just never took to the show because some men really look rough and tuff and scare me to some degree and killing and murder go hand and hand and the fear factor made me turn the station. Matter of fact this should had been turned into a Movie instead and added all the un-cut stuff as well?
I love watching Sons of Anarchy on FX! It is a very intense series. I can’t get enough of the twists and turns. Since I am a DISH subscriber I get to follow along on FX unlike DIRECTV customers. Working for DISH I can tell you that DIRECTV customers will miss this season’s last episodes. Not to mention they are up for a season 5.
I Had it for a moment as well and though the show was really good in away of being aggressive and rude and self centered and the men really look sexy on there bikes with those tight jeans and…No shirt and vest and that long hair really gathered my attention and yes…I was lucky with that H.D. T.V. I Was cleaning up and getting almost everything and then one day that freaking station was gone with the wind and…That really made me mad and they want you to pay for it..Which really sucks and really blows but when you get something for free and they take it away from you? It is a pain in the butt and really rude and very sneaky!
