More information to fill the lists for cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012. Hey cat lovers, good news, Animal Planet renewed My Cat From Hell for a new season. Beginning Saturday, June 30, cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy takes on unruly cats and assists their frustrated owners in ten all-new episodes of MY CAT FROM HELL at 8 PM (ET/PT). Then, at 9 PM (ET/PT), the first of six all-new episodes of BAD DOG! premieres with misbehaving mutts and devious pets caught in the act.
When combative cats cause couples to contemplate a split, and feuding felines force friends to fight for the first time, cat listener Jackson Galaxy steps in to locate the source of conflict between owners and their furry friends in MY CAT FROM HELL. Now, for the first time, Galaxy is taking his skills and signature guitar case filled with cat toys on the road to New York City to tackle a few extreme cases of cats behaving badly.
Often times for Galaxy, the zany personalities and stressful actions of humans are to blame for creating these feline dramas and putting people and cats at risk. From a territorial cat that can’t get along with the family dogs and “bitch-slaps” its owner, to a confused cat that uses the closet as a litter box , it’s up to Galaxy to execute his proven training program and solve the gamut of feline- and human-related issues before relationships fall apart and cats are shown the door.
“Each cat has a distinct personality and temperament and the actions of humans can easily lead to a claw in the face,” says Galaxy. “Dealing with these out-of-control cats can be easier than dealing with out-of-touch owners, and fixing people first can often be the cure all for feline vexations.”

I have 2 Persians, 1/2 the time they use the litter box, the other times they pee on our carpets and bathroom rugs. Have replaced the carpet and scrubbed the concrete with bleach before the new carpet. New carpet put down January 2012. Is now September 2012. They started this about the same time it got unusually HOT in southern Ca. Our cat groomer said she has heard this unusual urinating a lot lately. Unfortunately since our cats have already started the urinating on the new carpet and in the exact same spots as the previous carpet, I don’t think they will stop. Would like to see Galaxy do a spot on a future show about this frustrating problem that I’m sure is not an isolated behavioral problem. Oh, they do not have a urinary track problem, been checked out by the our Vet.
I’m glad my cat from hell got renewed. As a cat lover it does my heart good to see owners learn how to deal with their cats. Jackson is fantastic! I’ve had cats all my life, but I still learn a lot from the show.

I have leaned a lot from Jackson after discovering his show. Mr. Bates yes as in Norman has mellowed out with your help Thank You. Just took in a rescue and they are doing great. General question? How long until my lil new guy stops being fearful of me the one that feeds him?
Please do not ever cancel this show. Cats are so misunderstood. People expect them to be more like dogs, and their not. I’m sure Jackson has helped a lot of cats and probably saved a lot of cats from being disowned by people who have watched the show. I have had cats for thirty five years of my life and I have learned a lot from the show. I’m sure there are millions of cats out there that will benefit from a show like this, and their owners too. I love Jackson, he is great on this show. Please don’t ever change or cancel this show.
I really enjoy this show. It’s remarkable how a little change can cause such big improvement in behavior. I would like to know where to get the cat lounges. I know my furry children would enjoy them.I just got new furniture and the lounges look like they would provide a very inviting alternative for claw sharpening. Thank you!
I was ready to poopoo on this show but after seeing that it actually helps people with their cats, I can’t see any harm in it. I hate how things are sensationalized and made dramatic on the show, though.
Kim, I have never once known someone who treated their cat like a dog. Generally, the people I know that have cats just have them because they are independent and don’t need much care. Cat owners generally have the same personality as cats, so why would they treat them like a dog which requires much more social interaction and watching after? I don’t know where you’re getting that idea. I’m very much a dog person and I’d never treat a cat like a dog.
In fact, in a lot of places if a dog starts biting, that’s it for the dog and it is off to be put to sleep, meanwhile a cat, that can do just as much damage as a dog, (not to mention cause horrible infections because of their filthy teeth and claws) people make exceptions and excuses so their cat isn’t harmed. I think that is pretty stupid.
However, I did know one idiot who tried to turn their cat into a vegetarian because they themselves were vegetarians and fed her cat milk everyday. (this was a full-grown cat) What a moron.
That cat is probably ridiculously malnourished and unhealthy.
