Below-Deck-cancelled-renewedNow that the inaugural trip is over, Bravo renewed Below Deck for a second season. How can it not be renewed if season finale hit a series high in the ratings, as it scored 1.8 million total viewers and 966,000 A18-49, up 12 percent and five percent, respectively, from the prior week’s episode (08/19/13), according to Nielsen. This marks the highest-rated episode of the series among all key demos. Based on the success of the first season, which averaged 1.4 million total viewers and 809,000 A18-49, hence the network renewed Below Deck for second season.

Next week there will be a reunion show on September 2nd too, so you don´t have to wait until next season for the next fix on Below Deck.

The show follows a group of crewmembers living and working aboard “Honor,” a 164’ mega-yacht. The upstairs and downstairs worlds collide when this young single crew, known as “yachties,” live, love and work together onboard the luxurious, privately owned yacht, while tending to the ever-changing needs of their wealthy, demanding clients. While each crew member brings a different level of experience, they all share a love for this lifestyle that enables them to travel to some of the most beautiful and exotic locales in the world. Each episode features different charter guests — from millionaires, to entertainers to hard-partying well-heeled friends — as they move onto the boat for an at sea adventure.
