undercover-boss-cancelled-renewed-cbs-season-threeWe are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011.

And this week was filled with renewal orders, including fan favourite Fringe renewal, Futurama getting two years renewal, and The Hub renewing 10 shows. And one cancellation being FX Lights Out.

And Today, CBS renewed The Amazing Race for cycle 19, but also took the opportunity to Renew Undercover Boss for season three. This was an expected move, since the show is solid in the ratings, averaging over 12 million viewers, and its second season did not lose much ground when compared to season one.

Undercover Boss is a show about high level corporate executives who slip anonymously into the rank and file of their own companies. What happens is interesting to say the least.

Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman and Chris Carlson are executive producing Undercover Boss, show renewed by CBS with not an announced schedule for season three yet.

This is the kind of show one could categorize as guilty pleasure, but given its ratings, it seems that a lot of people have the same guilty pleasure.

What do you think about Undercover Boss being renewed by CBS for a third season? Are you happy about it?
