We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011. And the year came out in its first week already giving way to a couple renewals. Second week of the year, is full of renewals. ABC renews Cougar Town for a third season. In this case, the same day as Pretty Little Liars renewal order for second season, Secret Life of the American Teenager renewal, Castle renewal, Grey´s Anatomy renewal, Private Practice renewal, Modern Family renewal and The Middle renewal. Cougar Town renewal for season three comes with no shock at all to anyone since the show is being solid in the ratings gaining 3%, and the last couple of seasons ABC did the whole comedy block pickup the same day.
We´ll get to see more of that great cast as we follow a show that only mistaken the name (And fortunately, even the show runner knows it and teases himself and the show). It´s probably alongside Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother the best sitcom ensemble. Want to hear your thoughts on this statement of mine.

I like the show a lot..I just can’t stand Courtney cox’s kid in it. I think he is terrible!!! and the creepy neighbor who shows up in the window…get rid of him too!
That’s good that Cougar Town will be back for a 3rd season, but will it end in 2012 or will it continue?

I love Cougar Town! I think the cast flows so well together. I wish they would bring back Courtney Cox’s dad. He was great too! The show isn’t very “cougary” anymore, but that is fine with me. This show gets better every week. Oh, I guess I do hate Courtney’s son’s girlfriend (but I can deal with it). LOL
I love cougar town, and am happy they renewed it! My husband hates it, but I see him peak around the corner and laugh while I’m watching it, I know he secretively likes it at heart!
This and Castle are my absolute fav shows, i do agree the they should rid the girlfriend and the creepy neighbor. but Bobby needs a girlfriend though, i feel sorry for him!

I LOOOOOOVE COUGAR TOWN!!!!!! Please leave it! The whole cast is wonderful. The comedy writing has an inocent fun that you can’t find on TV since Scrubs ended. I love it. I look forward to it every Wed. eve.

COUGARTOWN renewed, but pulled from the WEDS lineup during all important SWEEPS month? To debut Matthew Perry SUNSHINE? A lineup shakeup usually doesn’t come during NOV or FEB ratings months.
Every Wednesday night I watch the show with a glass of wine when my husband is doing his guy night. I love the Show!!!

The cast is good. The writters suck it’s the same old theme week after week, after week, after week and after week!
I LOVE this show! I watch it every Wed. It is creative and a great show about friendships with your average people that are older than highschool students. And I love that they show that ppl can be responsible while they drink. Yes they show a lot of wine being drunk, and sadly sometimes idolized, however, they are always sober! Thank you for such a fun show!!!
I love Cougar Town. Ellie is my bitch, we’d get along great if we were friends. Constructive criticisms: hate Travis’s greasy long hair look, everyone needs to stop basically worshipping Jules (Courteney Cox is beautiful, but all the attempts to show how cool she is or how many stalkers she has is getting old. Its your show, we get it.) Bobby’s character needs to grow a little more…PLEASE GET HIM A REAL APARTMENT OR CAR. And a girlfriend.
“Cougar Town” is great, if you cancel this show you are making the biggest mistake ever. I consider ABC the best, and “Cougar Town” is one of your best shows ever. Can always use a good laugh and this show does it.
My husband doesn’t watch much tv. He scoffs when I watch Greys Anatomy, but we both LOVE cougar town. It is ridiculous and we laugh so hard. Better with you is too corny and mr. Sunshine doesn’t quite hit the mark. Get rid of another show and bring back cougar town! My Wednesday night aren’t the same!

Although the story lines themselves seem repetative and unrealistic I love this show; the jokes and overdone similarities to everyday life in those jokes and the things the people want to say but cannot….It makes us laugh and we really enjoy it a lot! Although NOTHING holds a candle to Modern Family!!! Sitcomes give you a nice light escape from the trials of everyday life so sit back and enjoy all!

Please, don’t cancel Cougar Town. It’s the only show I enjoy watching, because the cast involves people my age. If they want to get rid of a show….they should cancel, Modern Family.
i love courtney cox and cougartown. it’s the only thing i watch on wednesdays so my tv has wednesdays off currently.
Yes Martha, they should really cancel the Emmy winning Modern Family. Is the writing over your head or does the gay thing give you the willies? Other than that you would have to be an imbecile to think ABC should cancel Modern Family.
Cougar Town’s easily one of the best sitcoms on television. Hope they bring it back because it’s considerably better than the trash currently occupying its Wednesday evening slot.
Love Cougar Town. My own complaints are that no one ever seems to work, and Ellie, the stay at home mom, never takes care of her child. I have a four-year-old and can’t spend enough time with him, he’s so great. As for the show’s whit, I love it. Modern Family and Cougar Town are perfect back-to-back.
COUGARTOWN is the WORST tv show ever! Its such a try hard and its not funny at all. Its so stupid. Some shows are stupid but still funny. COUGARTOWN is just useless. Waste of time.
Cougartown is one of the best shows I’ve seen lately! Very funny if your in your 40’s you can relate! We look forward to it and bought season one on dvd. Glad it’s coming back!

Cougar Town is one of the best comedies running, along with Outsourced, and Modern Family. I give an A+++. Anyone who doesn’t like it has NO sense of humor whatsoever.
this show is so fricking hilarious! every idea that they have for the “group” is so original. especially the idea of the group itself. the laughs never stop. every line of banter from beginning to end is so unique and funny. it doesn’t really matter if anyone posts negative comments about this show, or says they don’t like it or what have you. the simple fact is that these people have absolutely Zero sense of humor. besides the fact that they took the time to seek out this message board and again took the time to post about it. Why? What’s the point? Anyway, cheers to all you out there with a fantastic sense of humor like myself. This show cracks me up from beginning to end. When I first heard about this show, I made a pre-judgement about how stupid it would be and that Courtney Cox would be a flake (which she is, but in a good way), and the comedy would be dry and lame. And that it was just a way for her to redeem herself since she hadn’t done anything good since Friends. I am Soo glad that I forced myself to give it a chance, because there isn’t another show like it. The writers are fantastic. This show is proof that there are people who still believe that you shouldn’t take life too seriously, otherwise what is the point of living. We should all be so lucky as to have a group of people in our lives who “get” us no matter how we are, and that are there for us, and just “hang out” in such a casual, (not seriously) judgmental capacity, and just have fun. This show is fantastic and I praise the writers.
Really like the show, but HATE Travis, Jules’ son. We hate everything about him…. his grey ghost skin (they live in Florida!!), his greasy gross haircut, his doughy face, his weak, uninteresting character. Please send him away to school for good. He is the absolute worst part of this show.
Cougartown was very funny in the first season. But lately it has become extremely boring and predictable.

I do not understand what the hell is going on in Cougar town, however, what is apparent is that Cox’ character is a take on Monica from Friends, she has almost a Phobe, Rachel, Joey, Chandler and Ross around her, massaging her ego in this show, and her duck face from her plastic surgery and her botox is just a shame. It is one big Courtney Cox’ ego trip that makes no sense, however, money is spent on the show so it will appeal to many, maybe people who still secretly miss Friends…..and what the hell has the show got to do with Cougars?
Hilarious! Living in Florida – I’ve met these people. Not everyone has to do the “grown up” stereotype. The cast has great chemistry.
CT is awesome! The highlight of TV watching for the week. The writting is A++++ and is unmatched to any other comedy on the air now.
Please, please, please don’t cancel this show. Can’t wait to see it again hopefull in 2012! ? Haven’t seen the show on for a while.

That’s it….The show makes me and my daughter happy… It is funny, silly and just all around light hearted fun. I hope they don’t take it off any time too soon. Weds night tv is mommy/daughter night of tv – don’t get much of that with a teenager these days.. When is it returning? It’s the end of Sept and nothing doing yet…….?

This show just shows where the comedic side of TV has gone. Talk about a show trying to boost someone’s ego, Cox’s and Phillips. There are no funny parts , even dry humor would be a nice change to this program. Have you looked to see who produced this, Cox and her ex- hubby. Also, cougars? Kind of gives cougars a bad name!!!
