We keep working to maintain our list of renewed shows on 2011 and all the cancelled shows on 2011 updated,and sometimes things like this happen, when a show that got cancelled gets rescued by another network. It´s not common, but it happens.
And this time it is kind of a shocker. Lifetime, who one may think as a women oriented network (although it has a couple of my favourite guilty pleasure shows in Drop Dead Diva and Project Runway), is rescuing from cancellation a show that one may think as men oriented as is America´s Most Wanted. Let´s remember that Fox cancelled America´s Most Wanted earlier this year, leaving the show as only four annual specials instead of a weekly show. Well, now Lifetime rescues and renews America´s Most Wanted for a season 25, giving it a new home, and an unexpected home, although the wish-fulfillment element that justice will be served is pointed as a good fit for the female oriented network.
Anyhow, it is a good show that´s been around for a long time and that has helped justice for a quarter century already.
