February already, oh where have you gone 2012? Well, anyhow, more info for my lists for cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012. And today I´ll be posting a lot, since there are too many good news to come: HBO renewed Luck for season two of theturf themed show.
The premium cabler had given us a preview of Luck a while back, and last week it was official premiere time, and just after that, HBO renews Luck for a second season. After all, you don´t want to have Dustin Hoffman wandering around unlocked, right?
The show has already been working on scripts, and are ready to go and start filming the sophomore season, since they are going to start production late February.
The second season renewal order for Luck by HBO consists of ten episodes that will air late in 2012 and 2013.
Ratings for this show are a bit tricky, since the preview drew 1,1 million and the official premiere also 1,1 million, but with the reruns it managed to be put in front of 3,3 million viewers, and you can never dismiss Dustin Hoffman, Michael Mann and David Milch. You need to give it time to gel. You know quality is good.
