Carol Joy Well, of course the TV show suffered major loss fo viewership - the damn network moved it, never mentioned that fact in any ads, and then pulled the plug. Also the viewers are not the right demographics for TV execs. We are older women, for the most part. So even if Roseanne had grnered the twelve million viewers that "Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman" had gotten, they would have pulled the plug. Also, the cynical side of me thinks that it was too truthful, and too funny for Lifetime. They'd rather have some sappy show about Army wives.
