We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011. And the year came out in its first week already giving way to a couple renewals. Second week of the year, is full of renewals. ABC renews Private Practice for a fifth season. In this case, the same day as Pretty Little Liars renewal order for second season, Secret Life of the American Teenager renewal, Castle renewal, Grey´s Anatomy renewal, Modern Family renewal, The Middle renewal and Cougar Town renewal. Private Practice renewal for season five comes with no shock at all to anyone since Private Practice is the highest-rated 10 PM series on ABC.
Maybe we´ll see a new crossover with Grey´s Anatomy, maybe we´ll see Charlotte and Cooper finally getting over the rape, maybe we´ll even see new characters added or perhaps a new heartbreaking moment as when Dell died.
What is for sure is we´ll get to see more Addison Montgomery drama and much more ShondaRhimesoness.

I am so glad it was renewed. When it didn’t follow Grey’s last night I was concerned that it had been cancelled. I will definately be watching.
Please keep Private Practice on. When is it on? Off the Map was on at the time it is ususally on.
Grey’s Anatomy & Private Practice are my 2 favorite shows. I watch both faithfully. Please don’t cancel either!

So glad to hear that “Grey’s,” “Private Practice” and “Castle” have been renewed. They are three of my favorite shows — great dialogue, intriguing plots and rich characters, pithy, punchy and crisp. Way to go, ABC!!
I am sooo happy. I was worried though, because there have been reruns,or no show at all. So I was worried that they cancled it. Private Practice, Grey’s Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Man, Rules of Engagement, Lie to Me, House, Brothers and Siters, Desperate Housewives and now Harry’s Law. These are all great Shows!!! Cancel all these reality TV Shows like Biggest Loser, Surviver, Bachelor and such. It really gets old after a while. The only so called reality shows that I like are something like Undercover Boss or Secret Millionare.
I will no longer watch Private Practice due to Kate Walsh entering the political arena,urging students at Washington University to boycott the presence of Bristol Palin on a panel regarding teen abstinence. Actors should act and keep their political opinions to them self’s.

Am a fan of Private Practice but will never watch again because of Kate Walsh. She should have kept her political opinions to herself.
I will always watch Private Practice till the end of time. It is one of my everything because of Kate Walsh. She is my favorite actress. Whatever she does or she doesn’t do still I am on her side. She is amazing actress and I love her for that. I believe with her passion in everything. I know that she has a good heart.

I used to like Private Practice, now I watch it if I’m bored enough. The problem I started having is that I cannot stand the characters in the show. They are not people that I would want to know and I don’t care that much about them. The final turning point for me was when they all refused to take care of the little girl. The call themselves a family and then when her father dies trying to get to the hospital they won’t help her? Finally, in the season finale they rectified that. I’m assuming that there was backlash. I know what people are going to say, that it wouldn’t have been good for the little girl if they weren’t ready blah, blah, blah. I don’t care. You take care of family. One of them could have stepped up, but instead they continued to all be to self-centered. The most selfish adult characters ever on tv. When I do watch this show now I’m up all night because I get so annoyed by the actions of the characters. I stopped watching Grey’s Anatomy a couple seasons ago, it just wasn’t enjoyable. I am not saying that any of the actors are bad – quite the contrary – I think all the actors on Private Practice are phenomenal! They couldn’t make me feel this strongly if they weren’t. It’s not completely unrealistic either (like Grey’s is). It’s just that I know people like them in real life, they are realistic characters, and when I meet people like them in real life I go the other way.

Thank goodness Private Practice is still on. I am so happy Betsy gets to live with Naomi. I wish Pete would have reconsidered and took her in. I cried when Dell died. Why on earth did they put Besty through so much. But please please please please please NEVER get rid of Private Practice. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the show. Hey, can you tell them to make the season longer…..lol

I’ll being watching it for sure. I’m glad it wasn’t cancled. I also watch Castle faithfully so it’s great it wasn’t cancled either. I even watch Pretty Little Liars glad it’s staying around too.
This show is all about helping people when they are down and out and being there for people when the chips are down but it is really up to the public and all the viewers that watch the show and well wishs to this show and know my friends really like the show big time…Beautiful woman and Handsome men that get there attention and most of all the acting is wonderful and refreshing and real to some degree. Emotions and feelings and thoughs and personality is what draws people in to the show…Good luck and hold on and hang in there.
Cancel all reality shows and keep the soaps and the serious shows like Private Practice…

love the show. But was the final episode when they had Thanksgiving and Addison was looking at her pregnancy test results?
I stopped watching grey’s anatomy because it is boring, after all those seasons they can’t think of anything fresh. Maybe they should change the writers. I watch Private practice sometimes but if I missed it then I don’t really care. It not really interesting anymore.
Private Practice is one of the best shows on TV if you replace the show with a bunch of bimbos I will not watch the show. I want Private Practice back please.

I love the characters, especially Cooper, the pediatrician and that totally hot black guy. The psychiatrist is an interesting nerd, also. Good to see Benjamin Bratt again, too. I was a real fan of NYPD for years
Please keep Private Practice on. It seems every time I find a show I love some one removes it from the TV schedule.
