Nitro-Circus-Live-cancelled-renewed-season-two-mtvMTV already announced the renewal of Snooki and JWOWW, the renewal of World of Jenks and the renewal of Money From Strangers, and I thought it was all I needed to add to the lists of cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012. Turns out I was wrong, MTV also renewed Nitro Circus Live for a second season of Travis Pastrana´s show.

MTV2 today announced the second season pick-up of the “Nitro Circus Live” series with 17-time X Games medalist Travis Pastrana and his sports-adventure troupe once again set to shock and awe audiences as they bridge the gap between extreme sports and unabashed daredevil antics. Prior to the new season, fans will be taken into the third dimension of heart-pounding stunts with the August 8, 2012 release of NITRO CIRCUS THE MOVIE 3-D, the group’s first feature length film.

MTV2 will celebrate the upcoming second season and movie with a special “Nitro Circus Live” season one marathon hosted by Travis and his crew tonight, Monday, August 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV2.

Then on Tuesday, August 7, Travis Pastrana and the Nitro Circus will be celebrating the premiere of their movie at LA Live in Los Angeles, CA (Lot 7) with fun, photos and autographs. But that’s not it! Fans will be treated to a special motocross demonstration – Nitro Style – when they pick one unsuspecting fan from the crowd to complete a tandem double back flip! Footage from the Nitro Circus event will be featured in a new episode of MTV2’s “What’s Good,” airing on Thursday, August 9 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV2.
