Guillermo Paz onto How I Met Your Mother
Guillermo Paz I see your point. But here“s the thing. Tracy could“ve been the stripper name. So there would be no problem there. She did not need to use her real name so the joke would be the mother stripped as Tracy.
Raven I like this theory, but I do have one thing to add to it. We do, in a sense, learn the name of the Mother. In Episode 9 of Season 1, "Belly Full of Turkey," Ted's telling a false story to the Kids, saying he met their mother in a strip club, and he mentions her name being Tracy, and the kids believe it. Obviously, the kids are going to know their mother's name, so her name would have to be Tracy, unless they made a mistake, or the kids, for some odd reason, made it through their lives, never learning their mother's name...Idk. The only problem is this, is that Jerry's daughter's name is Carly. But it is also out there that the Mother is the random girl Ted bumped into at the St. Patrick's Day party. For one, why would they randomly toss that in there, if it wouldn't be of importance somehow, at sometime; two, it's mentioned earlier in the same episode that she was at that party. Plus, when he said she was there, it showed her with the umbrella, so all you saw was the umbrella, her coat, and her pants...The girl he bumped into, just so happens to have the same pants as his Wife...You just have to pay real close attention to see that.
