You chose some great quotes, but then that was a really good episode and there were a lot to choose from. "Goodnight Gracie' really brought all the season's threads together too, and me glad that I've been recording every episode since I got the DISH Hopper (now that I have more than enough storage space to DVR everything I want to). So I can't wait to rewatch this season shortly before the next starts.

Oh no, the absolute funniest thing I've heard on TV is ages, made even better by its perfect delivery... Gloria's sister asking, with clothes basket in hand, "Where's the river?"

Those are some great quotes, a few are even better out o context ;) Can’t wait to see what quotes you use for Mistery Date. I haven’t had much luck keeping current with Modern Family lately. Mainly because I’ve been working the evening shift. I hear about it when my coworkers at DISH with overlapping shifts talk about it. Since almost every show I like to watch is on during primetime, Modern Family isn’t the only show I’m behind on. Luckily I have one of DISH’s Hopper whole-home DVRs, and I have the PrimeTime Anytime feature enabled on it so it automatically records all the primetime shows on the four major networks. So all my shows will be waiting for me this weekend when I have some time to play catch-up, where with my old DVRs, I always had to make tough decisions because I’d inevitably run into scheduling conflicts.

I think this episode was full of some great line gems, like: “Even I think it’s nerdy and I’m fluent in Elvish.” I didn’t care that much for the whole puppet story with Gloria, but she carried it off as so funny, she really made it better than the idea itself. The rest of your quotes are great though. Modern Family feels like my extended family, which I have at my house when my DISH coworker and his family come over to watch with me each week. I used to get frustrated when he would get there and there weren’t any recordings, because my kids deleted the timers, but now I have PrimeTime Anytime on my Hopper DVR. That way I’m not embarrassed because I set all four of the major networks to automatically record each evening.

Oh, hahahaha! I really enjoyed reading those quotes from the show as a refresher; my favorite was when Mitch said “Like we weren’t at her age?” about being obsessed about princesses. Holidays with Modern Family are now like when I was a kid and looked forward to seeing the Peanuts on TV. Since I love the show so much, I save all of the episodes now instead of buying them on DVD at the end of the season. My DISH coworker reminded me of the thousands of hours of HD recording time on my Hopper DVR so I figured it was stupid to pay that money each year. Now, I get more out of my TV service and my wife is happy she has more purse money; LOL!
