Cancelled and Renewed Shows 2010: CBS cancels Medium

BOOOOOOOOOOOO! The Medium is a great show! As a matter of fact I woke up today and said to myself “ooh it’s Friday, my Medium comes on tonight” I am really bummed about this! This is a great show and instead of the networks making the decision’s, why can’t we as viewers have a choice??? First Ghost Whisperer, not Medium. I hate tv right now lol.

I am not happy that they cancelled Medium. This is one show that I really enjoyed watching. What is CBS thinking?

Oh no! No, no, no, no, no!!!!!! Medium has been my favorite show for SEVEN SEASONS!!! They can’t cancel it!!! Put it next to The Mentalist on a Thursday night slot!!! Medium deserves it!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! :'(

I didn’t watch it at first, but once I started, it grew on me and eventually became one of my faves. I’m sorry that it’s going off, but, on the upside, I vowed to not start watching any new shows, so, the more they cancel the good old ones, the closer I am to becoming TV-free.

Thank you CBS. What idiot was in charge of this decision? I always looked foward to Friday night. Now what will I have to look forward to? This show was one of the only decent shows left to view that not a reality show. I guess Ill be watching more of ABC because CBS has nothing else worth watching! Im not happy!

This has been a great show. Medium deserves to go out with penuche at least. Will they give her a chance to go after her dreams of being a lawyer? Will this show end like it deserves to end? Not that I’m saying I want it to, but if it must go let it go out with lots of style and grace. Let it be beautifully done so the memories won’t be bitter. It will be missed greatly.

I’m sooo sad medium is canceled! I always canceled my plans on Fridays to watch medium. It’s such a good show and I’m really sad that it won’t be continuing :'(

I cannot believe that CBC cancelled Medium. They’re probably bringing in yet another action series with lots of gore and guts, filmed in Vancouver, BC with Canadian actors. Well, it is much cheaper to film there. Unfortunately you get what you pay for…lousy writing and acting. I am so sad to see Medium go. I have been a huge fan from day one. My Friday nights were absolutely made (I have no life) when Ghost Whisperer (also cancelled) was followed by Medium. I hope they reconsider, or another network picks it up just like CBC did from NBC. Please!!!

Is there any way to save Medium from being cancelled? Good tv drama is really hard to find now. I got hooked on this show and got my husband hooked as well. Would love to help in any way I can to stop the cancellation of Medium.

EXTREMELY UNHAPPY TO LEARN MEDIUM IS BEING CANCELLED. Very bad decision. They should try airing it on a night when people watch tv. Friday is not a very popular tv-watching night.

I AM SOOOO UPSET THAT MEDIUM HAS BEEN CANCLLED!!!!!!! It and Ghost Whisperer were the only shows that I watched on a regular basis!!! Since I am a mother now what I looked forward to on Friday night’s were THOSE two show’s and now I’m pissed! I even got my Fiance hooked on Medium! This is a horrible decision. I sure hope that someone picks it up!!!!!!!

I can’t believe The Medium has been cancelled!!! The only two shows I liked were Law and Order and The Medium and now there’s nothing left but moronic shows. Really bad move! The only reason I even put CBS on was to watch this show.

I agree though, Friday at 8pm wasn’t a good time. Would have been better if it aired earlier in the week.

Maybe it will go back to NBC or another station. I hope so. BRING BACK THE MEDIUM!!

That is a huge bummer that Medium is canceled! Bad move! We have looked forward to it every week since it began. Put it near Mentalist if need be, they are both great!

Is it too much to ask for a few quality tv shows? I have watched Ghost Whisperer and Medium from episode 1. They done away with Ghost Whisperer, and now Medium!! I work all week and looked forward to my one show on Friday night. And now I’m seriously thinking of shutting my tv off. All that is on anymore is crap!!! I’m really not understanding how they decide all of this. I thought when they axed Ghost Whisperer it ws to keep Medium. So will they bring back Ghost Whisperer?

The CBS administration is making a mistake. Medium is one of the best shows on T.V. I will no longer watch CBS and I hope others will join me.

I really love this show. I loved the dynamic between Joe and Allison. I’d always rush home before I got my DVR to see it! I just finished watching tonight and heard series finale next Friday and needless to say I was very unhappy.

YES I am very sad that Medium is being canceled by CBS. With all the junk on TV like all those reality shows Medium was a great entertainment show and always kept you on your toes. WHY DO THEY KEEP TAKING ALL THE GOOD SHOWS OFF……

It’s a shame that networks don’t watch their own shows. Medium is one of the few good shows left on air. It has so many good qualities-I’ve watched it since the beginning and it is only getting better-now they take it off the air…In my opinion, STUPID move CBS!@!! Even my parents who are in their 70’s watch Medium! Thanks for disappointing all of Medium’s viewers.

I wish you would reconsider and not cancel the medium. I have followed the show from the beginning and really like it. I watch your station because you have the shows I like. You already cancelled Ghost Whisperer and I liked that show also. A lot of nurses where I work like these shows. We really do not like reality shows.

I am totally crushed. I have never missed an episode. This isn’t just about Alison’s abilities, it’s a story of family & friends and getting through the good & bad times. Everything about this show is classy. CBS crushed it by putting it on a Friday night and then wondered why thinking people weren’t home to watch. Thank goodness for DVR. Is there anything left on CBS to watch other than NCIS?

I am so sad and bummed that Medium has been canceled. I had watched it since it was first on NBC-which didn’t appreciate it either.I never miss an episode and LOVE the show so much which I know means nothing to CBS since they cancel all the good shows. They canceled my daytime shows also,so I hate them-now even more.Putting it on Friday night instead of a weeknight with,as others suggested, with The Mentalist just showed they did not respect or want it to do well in their ratings-whatever that means. I agree-let’s not get attached anymore!

Shame on you CBS for canceling Medium when you didn’t even give it a chance to succeed by putting it on Friday night. I’m with the rest of you–there’s not much left on CBS worth watching. Y&R, NCIS, and the Mentalist are the only ones I really care for anymore. I stopped watching the CSI(s) a few years ago. Of all the shows, the CSI shows have run their course. No more new shows for me either. Just when you get hooked, they get canceled.

Medium was the only reason I watched CBS on Friday night. I loved Ghost Whisperer also and they took that away. At least they replaced it with Medium. Please bring it back. There is no reason to watch CBS on Friday’s now.

Just watched the last episode of Medium tonight. My mom and I have watched this show since it began. Though it was an excellent ending, we’re going to miss it terribly. I hope CBS can bring them back anyway… just make the whole episode a dream of what the future holds for Allison. It was certainly one of the best shows on TV and don’t understand its cancellation! I just watched the final episode of Medium tonight. It was an excellent tear-jerking episode and well done, BUT why end such an excellent show? My mom and have watched this show since it began and LOVE it. Tell you what! Bring them back next year with the idea being that the show tonight was ALL a dream showing what’s in store for Allison. And maybe she can prevent Joe from flying that plane. Bring them all back! Please!

I was watching tonight and it slowly dawned on me that something strange was goi9g on. It broke my heart when I discovered it was their last show. I loved that show. It was one of the few that told of family values instead of the nonsense they have representing families now. I am going to miss them terribly.

Hello, my husband and I could not believe what we watched tonight we actually thought she was having a very long dream but actually never even thought it was their last show. We just kept thinking where are they going with this! We loved this show and are very sorry to see it go off the air. Maybe someone out there will pick it up hopefully. We are sooooo tired of reality shows that we hardly watch TV anymore except for History/Discover channel, etc.

I didn’t know Medium was being canceled until I watched the show tonight. I can’t believe it! There’s so much garbage on TV and you cancel two of the best shows on the air! First it’s Ghost Whisperer and now Medium. As I watched tonight I kept thinking, “How are they going to turn this all around?” But it didn’t turn around! I’m angry and disgusted with this decision and will think twice before watching another show on CBS. You’ve really blown it this time!

I did not know they were cancelling Medium until I watched the fimal episode and at the end Joe and Alison die! And then they showed each of the charachters and their real names, I am absolutley pissed that they cancelled Medium! WHY??? Great ratings, a great show and the best actors! So WHY CBS, WHY???

I just watched the final episode of medium, And i couldnt believe its being canceled. It seem like every show i get interested in it gets canceled, Like ghost whisper, I hate all these reality shows. bring back medium , or i’m going to have to stop watching tv ,I hate that you get hooked on a show then they are canceled

Please let this all be a dream…hopefully some other network can pick it up and start it over as “just a dream/nightmare” for Allison. This is a great show!

I can’t believe medium is cancelled, that was one of my favorite shows and the only reason I watched tv on Friday nights, everyone is right-they take all the good shows off and keep the junk, I am watching less and less tv because there is nothing good on anymore. I guess this is a good thing. I am just disappointed that they took off a really good program. Now, no tv on Friday night, I am sick of all the crappy shows on and the few they haven’t cancelled are only on half of the year, you never know when there will be a current episode on because they only play one every other week for a few weeks and then take two to four months off a couple times a year.

You have cancelled one of the best shows on TV..!! There are very few well made shows on tv anymore, and now you take one of them off the air..!! The least you could have done was to explain why. I have looked everywhere for a reason why it cancelled with no success.

Medium was a vintage class drama. Solid acting, wonderful writing, beautifully filmed and directed. Didn’t lose its way or its audience…even when moved to Friday night.

I’m in the camp of a smarter, more sophisticated network picking up Medium. When you treat the show well, you treat its viewers well.

i love medium, the last show was very good untill i realized it was the series finale. so dissappointed and sad i will not be able to watch this show.is there anything we can do to bring it back. i lost my husband unexpectedly in 2009 and that episode really touched my heart. please don’t let it be over.

I could not believe what I was watching. I could not believe that I was actually watching the LAST show! Medium is a favorite and since I am unable to watch it when it first airs, I record it. I had no idea I would no longer be able to record it because, for some reason, CBS chose to cancel it. I had to go online to find out if the cancellation was true and why. WHY CBS???

I’m very disappointed that Medium has been cancelled. Patricia Arquette’s character, Allison was so real and believable. She did an excellent job acting and would like to see her in other shows. I really looked forward to watching it. i was pretty disappointed with the last episode too. It was kind of all over the place.

Medium is a great show! I rush home from working out just to watch it! I am really disappointed to hear it was cancelled. All of the actors are outstanding and each and every one are worth watching. With all the other crummy shows that are still on, I can’t believe they would cancel something as good as this.

I had no idea that Medium was cancelled at cried through the entire series finale. The relationship between members of the duBois family was the realest that I’ve seen in years and a wholehearteded congratulations to Jake Weber and Paricia Arquette for giving us a real and loving marriage to emulate. Kudos to everyone on the Medium team.

Loved this show. I think it was a huge mistake because it was a one-of-kind show after they dropped Ghost Whisperer. Loved the family dynamics and the girls were so terrific. Loved the stories as well. I agree with others who say there is very little left to watch on CBS. The Mentalist is it! My husband and I have been hooked on Medium for a long time as well as both of our parents. We were really crushed when we discovered it was ending and I didn’t like how they killed Joe because this was a show that should have been picked back up. One of my favorite shows so I am a little ticked.

Now they’re gone, just like my Mom. I HATE reality shows. I don’t know what the Networks are thinking and doing. Next, they’ll be cancelling Modern Family.

I couldn’t believe it when i saw the last episode. I actually cried in the end. This sucks. I loved this show. Apparently shows are cancelled one by one.

Stations keep canceling the most memorable shows and leave all the filth that teaches viewers how they should get into drugs, be stupid, and how being a slut is the latest fashion. Shows like Medium were set apart from all of that, and just like Ghost Whisperer, you kill the show off…After Criminal Minds is gone, the station will go to hell. Terrible mistake CBS. Just you watch.

I have watched Medium thru the years and enjoyed it so much because it was different. A show the whole family could watch. I have to say the final show was the best ending of a tv series I have ever seen. This was brilliant entertainment. Thumbs up to the writer. I cried at the end. Thank you Patricia and tv family for bringing us this great show. CBS – you goofed again!!

I loved this show and the characters. I felt like I knew them. I was so shocked at the last episode. I was visiting my daughter in Florida when I saw it while she was at work. I cried sitting with my son-in-law. When my daughter got to see it, she cried too. CBS always does that. I like Blue Bloods, but am afraid once I’m truly hooked, they’ll cancel them too. I’ll miss Alison and Joe and their family and friends, it’s a show that will stick with you for a long time to come.

It’s Been One Week and I’m still in shock that this Extraordinary True Life Story With Actors that were nothing less than Steller in their Performences,as well as the creative writings of so many Shows! This is the first time that I have ever written”A Comment” about a cancellation! I along with a multitude of others were in Total SHOCK that they were Watching The “Last Show”! My feelings were of deep sadness,rage,and Betrayal as one of many that couldn’t wait to turn on “The Medium” and step into the Dubois Family’s Life as well as Manuel’s family and Lee’s family every week. I don’t know the many WHY’S or WHO that went into this final decision? But I strongly feel it was so Terribly Wrong on so many Levels…I’m certain I do not stand alone when I say that I feel totally Ripped off,going from Joe’s Mother Dying to Joe dying and Empty Space in between…The Actors deserved more than this! I applaud all the Actors and Actress’s from age two to ? That have given us “Everything That a Top Rated,Loved,Authentic,”Forever Remembered” Show could Be! Your Integrity is and will always be in tact! I cant say the same about Those Responsible for this Hatchet Abrupt ending….Nothing will fill the The Emptiness of Your Spot! Again,I thank the Cast,writters and all who made “The Medium”! You will be missed!

I am heart broken: I felt that Allison & his family, were part of my own family & I’ll miss them until somehow, they can bring them back.

I really miss MEDIUM. The acting in the show was superb, and the storyline was exceptional. I didn’t realize it was cancelled, and the last show was really upsetting. I’ve watched the show faithfully for the the last 7 seasons, and am annoyed that CBS was allowed to just say ‘CANCEL’….. BUMMER!!!!! After Ghost Whisperer bit the dust, and now Medium, I’m waiting for the CBS to drop the hammer on Blue Bloods, one of the best shows to come along in a long time. If they cancel Blue Bloods, I’m done with CBS. I’ll even forego “The Good Wife”, a favorite show. They’ll probably cancel that one also. It seems every time my husband and I get interested in a show, it’s cancelled. Who makes these assinine decisions?

I am FURIOUS with CBS for cancelling Medium, my favorite, never miss show. WHY, WHY, WHY????? Can’t they reconsider and bring it back with the last episode just being another one of Allison’s bad dreams? I was so sad and upset for a solid week over this. What in the HELL are you all thinking? ONe of the best series I have seen in a long time and have enjoyed watching over the years and you guys cancel it!! Although this show is only for adults in our household, it shows some great family values….communication between the husband and wife, and true issues we all see within a family with teenagers and small children. WOW!! You guys really blew this one!! This is a late response but I do miss the show! Thumbs down to CBS!!

I never got into the show that much any way and lost the reason for watching after 2 or 3 times but good idea is just that the story line is too confusing and it seems weak to a large degree and kind of boring and lacked something in the story line…GoodBye and good luck with your future but for a story line to work the men have to be smoking hot and yummy for the taking and…Normal boring men was not doing it for me!

So I have been watching this show since I was little. Obviously I’m a teenager. I decided that I would watch every single show from the beginning. I have seen every episode more than twice.
