I had the chance to watch the season premiere of House MD called Twenty Vicodin upfront, and the move to having Gregory House in jail as the scenery makes for a nice change, specially if we have to see Lisa Cuddy out of House´s life for good.
The episode includes Annette Odable, the newest addition to the roster, and Charlene Yi, another addition to House´s cast.
Warden Delaire: Are you sorry for what you did?
House: Yes

Michael Ausiello reported it: Odette Annable joins season 8 of House MD as the new member of Gregory House´s team at Princeton Plainsboro.
Do you want to hear some spoiler of House Season 8? Well, I already told you that House will go to jail in season premiere, well, there is where he meets Odette Annable´s character, who then moves on to join the team; a team that needs females, since both Amber Tamblyn and Olivia Wilde are out of it (although Olivia Wilde will be on House season 8, not every episode).
So, Odette Annable is joining House Season 8 as a cast regular, and the producers are still looking for someone to replace Lisa Edelstein´s Cuddy who left House.

Born Odette Juliette Yustman on 10 May, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, Odette started her career with a minor role in the movie Kindergarden (1990) as “Rosa.” After graduating from Woodcrest Christian High School in Riverside, California, where she was the homecoming queen, she turned to modeling with a few roles through the years. Some of her credits include Danielle Steel’s Danielle Steel: Memories (1996) (TV) and Dear God (1996) with a few guest appearances in “Quintuplets” (2004). Well, we are already preparing ourselves for a new season on House in which Cuddy left House MD for good… but how will that work?
Well, at least there´s a chance to see something in the line of season six premiere when House was in a mental institution. In this case, House will be in prison, can you imagine House in jail?
Well, I know, he had it long coming… but he´s our favourite doctor!
According to Mr Spoiler himself, House production vans setting up shop outside a Los Angeles-area prison. That, combined with some recent casting buzz, strongly suggests that Season 8 will kick off with Dr. Crankypants doing hard time.
What is this all meaning? Let´s see. Gregory House in prison works, mainly because it follow what Cuddy said in the season finale, that she wanted House in jail, but not only that; it can give the sensation of the time passing by and explaining why Cuddy is no longer in; and can also introduce some new characters to the show.
We´ll see how this works out.

Thirteen is back in House!!! Well sorta… You´ll see what I mean soon enough.
Thirteen has been in prison for the past year, but the real mystery for House is what she did to get there. When she exits the prison, she is taken aback to find him waiting for her, and unaware he’s got plans for the two of them for the next few days. As House probes Thirteen for more information about her crime, intent on solving the puzzle of her mysterious incarceration, they travel to an annual spud-gun competition and join forces to compete against House’s much younger, overconfident rival, and along the journey uncover secrets and truths about each other. At the hospital, the team treats a science teacher suffering from severe respiratory illness, and when the team inspects the patient’s house for clues to his illness, they immediately learn he’s a hoarder. But upon a second visit to obtain more information, they uncover something in the many piles that shocks them. Also, Taub tries to get back into the dating scene, but winds up retreating to his old habits.
House: So what did you do?

Open with House sending a taxi driver outside a prison. Out walks Thirteen and he hands her a martini, which she promptly chugs. In the car he says he knows that she pled down to excessive prescribing but he doesn’t know what she did to get in there. She isn’t talking.
Masters mentions to the team a 36-year old science teacher who started coughing blood. At the time they all get texts saying House will be out for three days. Just as they attempt to clear the room House calls and Masters makes a pitch that the case might be more than just a simple nose bleed. House tells them to run cultures and search the man’s home for toxins.
House doesn’t tell the team about Thirteen. But he isn’t taking her home, instead bringing her to a chili cook-off-spud gun competition.
Just as Chase wants to write the teacher’s (Brian) nose bleeds off as inhaled bacteria from the locker rooms at his school, he starts coughing up some serious blood.
House takes Thirteen to buy some clothes while grilling her about what she really did to get put in jail for six months about six months after leaving the team. She still isn’t giving up any info. He mentions that she has a background in clean combustion and tells her for four years he’s been runner-up to someone named Harold. She will help as long as she can make a “person stop.”
At Brian’s house Taub tells Foreman he’s been seeing a new young nursing assistant. Inside they see stacks and stacks of junk of every type. Brian is a hoarder: Plus there is no running water, no electricity, etc. They think there must be a psychological component to his problem. Foreman finds tons of fungus and suggests an infection related to that.
House and Thirteen stop at a home. She knocks on a door, a man answers and she promptly knees him in the groin. She returns to the car and says she’s hungry.
Brian tells Foreman and Taub he’s just a “major slob” and Taub points out they found saved ear wax.
House spills the beans about recently breaking up with Cuddy. When Thirteen realizes he’s serious she tells him “I killed a man.”
Brian doesn’t test positive for the fungal infection. The team comes up with the possibility of carbon monoxide and Masters and Chase are selected to return to the home.
Thirteen doesn’t want to talk about happened, but House continues to fire guesses at her.
Curious as to how Taub is able to do so well with younger women, Foreman asks the nursing assistant about him. She tells him he cancelled their date for that night.
House and Thirteen make a stop and she fires his potato gun. She isn’t impressed and has suggestions for how to make it better.
At Brian’s home Masters is fascinated. There is no carbon monoxide, but she wants to stick around and learn more. They find raccoon feces and Chase suggests Q fever. At this point they find a woman hiding under a tarp.
It turns out Brian’s wife Nina is the hoarder and Brian has been living with her.
Thirteen buys supplies at a hardware store, telling House she wants to focus on distance and accuracy.
Foreman secretly checks out Taub’s phone and sees he’s meeting someone at his place during his usual workout class.
Thirteen and House get to the competition. Harold walks over with an even bigger gun and fires off a shot to intimidate them. House and Harold talk trash.
Foreman comes home to find Taub and wife Rachel having sex on his sofa.
The night before the competition Thirteen makes a few more adjustment to the gun. She also tells House that one of his earlier guesses was right, she and a guy she met at a coffee shop went back to her place and he OD’d.
Brian tells Masters that Nina gradually fell into her current state over the past few years. He says he has an appreciation for her view of what is junk. While Brian seems fine, Nina begins to have heart issues.
In the middle of the night House hears Thirteen crying by the window.
Nina had a heart attack, which doesn’t seem to match with Q fever. They think of another possibility which will require a test at Brian’s place. Masters and Chase will go back.
Thirteen slips up while telling a family story and references her dad taking “us” somewhere. House guesses she has a sibling. From there he goes to “you euthanized your brother.” Thirteen says “congratulations” and walks away.
During Brian’s MRI Foreman said he thinks Taub isn’t being fair to Rachel by refusing to let her move on with her life. The test is clean.
The test at Brian’s place reveals nothing by Masters stays to continue looking.
House tracks Thirteen down in the woods nearby. She tells him her brother got to the point where he couldn’t do it himself. In his lucid moments he told her “It’s time.” She used gloves so the only crime she could be charged with was the drugs. She is upset, thinking about the time when she gets that sick and nobody is there to help her. House stares at her without emotion and this irritates Thirteen. “It’s no wonder Cuddy broke up with you.” Back on the range Harold starts talking trash about wanting to get with Thirteeen. House turns his potato gun on Harold.
Thirteen meets House at the police station. He shot a spud at Harold but was let off because Harold hit on the sheriff’s daughter. House mentions that day would have been his one-year anniversary with Cuddy.
Masters arrives in Nina’s room with the oldest thing she found in the house, some baby clothes. The team assumes this means infertility and they tell House this via phone. At this point Thirteen (who has been listening to the case the entire time) tells them they aren’t considering the opposite.
Masters tells Nina they think she has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. It would explain the symptoms, as well as any miscarriages. She admits to having gotten pregnant three times, which Brian didn’t know. He leaves the room in anger.
Taub tries to end the fling with Rachel. She says no because she’s enjoying the excitement of the current version of their relationship.
Brian returns to Nina’s room and takes her hand.
House tells Thirteen he’ll kill her if she needs it done later in her life. She accepts his offer to be his assistant and says she’ll be at work on Monday.
Hello House fans. I´m here with new spoilery thingies.
Is House getting back together with Cuddy? Not for the time being, but he is soon enough (Probably next season though)
Is House getting married with Cuddy? Nope… he´s not. Buuut here´s the catch.
House is getting married in the next episode of House MD.
As Michael Ausiello puts it: “House creator David Shore recently confirmed that upcoming episode would feature a wedding no one would see coming, and the boss man will deliver on that promise this Monday.”
It appears though as House is getting married to one of his masseuses, and he invites Cuddy to the wedding.
Is this something House would do? Sure… but it seems like a gimmick to get Cuddy back.
Wilson will probably try to stop House from getting married to a hooker / masseuse. The team will have to work the case around House´s wedding plans, and in the end the marriage won´t happen or will eventually get anulled.
That´s my bet.
House getting married is a spoiler, I know, but it´s not going to stick. So it´s a partial non long term spoiler.

Fresh out of Cuddy and House Breaking Up when everyone thought Cuddy was dying, in an epic episode where Hugh Laurie sang as House Get Happy, we get to see the post break up, and a great episode of House, where a young professional champion bullfighter is admitted for treatment after being attacked by a bull. After conducting multiple inconclusive tests, the team enlists House’s advice outside of the hospital while he attends to a few issues away from the case. Back in the hospital, the bullfighter’s condition continues to worsen, but with disappearing symptoms and the patient’s more frequent mini-seizures, the team’s last option is risky open-heart surgery. Meanwhile, Masters develops a crush on their bullfighter patient much to Taub’s surprise.
Wilson: Are you sure Vicodin is…
House: Worse is worse
Wilson: You don´t only want to avoid the issue. You want to avoid avoiding the issue
House: Why didn´t I meet you six months earlier
House: Eat fast, we are expecting company
Wilson: Ok, this might not be such a bad idea
House: I´m not an idiot, I know when I need help
Wilson: I meant a counselor
House: I know
Wilson: But you meant a hooker
House: That´s right, baby steps
Wilson: You knew he was an addict before you got involved

Open with a bullfighter named Layne pulling off a successful ride. Afterwards he stands strangely still while the bull knocks him across the ring and begins stomped on his chest and head.
Wilson goes to look in on the recently dumped House, whose checked himself into a nice hotel. House has been going heavy on the Vocodin and says his pain is worse. Concierge Carnell references getting House “anything” he wants and House’s mind quickly turns to prostitutes.
House has also called in sick, leaving the rest of the team to figure out Layne. Making things difficult is that his lengthy injury history will make some tests impossible and others useless. Masters learns for the first time about House’s history with Vicodine.
Wilson goes to Cuddy and begs her to give House another chance. While she agrees he deserves another chance, the situation isn’t just about him. She doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to give her what she needs in a partner. Wilson tells her he’s back on Vicodin, advising her to keep an eye on his new patient.
While in a bathtub with a prostitute, House advises the team the standard inner-ear test they used on Layne won’t be enough since he’s such an elite athlete. House is also well aware that Cuddy was in the room listening to the conference call.
Layne passes the inner ear test with no problem. It is also clear that Masters has something of a crush on Layne. After the test he begins bleeding in his mouth.
In bed with a different prostitute, House gets a call from the team. They tell him about the blood in Layne’s sputum. Masters makes a comment to House his being on Vicodin. He lies and tells her he’s not taking the drug.
Taub asks Masters about her attraction to Layne. Even she’s not sure where it’s coming from. Taub tells her not to worry about House and Vicodin. During the scope they notice his eyes are yellowing.
House (who is with yet another prostitute) suggests they need to cut Layne open to get a better sense of what is going on.
During surgery they notice a mass from Layne’s x-ray has disappeared.
They bring the new x-ray to House, who is lying in bed with another prostitute. House suggests an infection. Despite the danger House thinks they should try a ventricular puncture (needle into the brain), which might be slightly safer than a spinal tap.
While performing the test on Layne’s brain the patient’s stats begin dropping. His airway is closed and they have to go the tracheotomy route to get his numbers back up. They notice a strong odor and discover it’s coming from his feet.
The team calls House with an update. While House and yet another prostitute trick Carnell with a fake William Tell-gone-wrong gag, he suggests another kind of infection and they plan to look at Layne’s heart. Wilson shows up looking serious.
To offset the obvious issue with the metal in Layne’s body cavity, the team injects ice water into his body and attempts an MRI.
At the hotel bar Wilson wants House to talk about his problems. House resists.
With smoke literally coming from Layne’s ribcage Taub is able to get an MRI picture. But it doesn’t show anything abnormal.
Wilson goes to see Cuddy and tells her she has to go talk to House. He says House needs her in his life even if the relationship isn’t romantic. But she responds that “I can’t fix his problem. I am his problem.”
In order to see whether Layne might be having small seizures and in need of a dangerous (for him) CT, House suggests having Layne sing along with a metronome. Layne pauses several times without realizing it.
While Wilson tries to comfort House about his current depression Foreman calls with words Layne’s CT was clean.
To find the imperfection in his aorta House wants to put pressure on Layne’s heart until it tears. They can then repair the damage, so long as he doesn’t die first. The team hates the idea, but House goes to Layne with the incredibly dangerous idea anyway. Layne seems okay with the test even though it may mean the end of the career he loves. He is very matter-of-fact about the prospect of moving on to something else and House seems impacted by this. At this exact moment Cuddy walks in needing to talk.
In the hall Cuddy tells House she thinks his crazy idea with Layne is an attempt to fill a void. She thinks his judgment has been affected by the drugs. House is adamant she either arrest his team or get out of the way. Cuddy does nothing.
During the test Layne’s heart has a massive blowout. But Taub, Chase and Foreman are able to repair the damage in time. An almost stunned Foreman says “It worked” and Masters smiles.
Layne wakes up to Masters sitting in the room. She tells him that he’ll be okay as long as he doesn’t get his heart rate up too high. She then awkwardly asks him out. He says “uh” and she leaves.
House watches college kids partying at a bar. The bartender talks about how nice it must be to have your life ahead of you and House stares intently at the group, seeing them in slow-motion as he drinks his scotch.
Cut to House up in his room with several empty bottles around him. We see Wilson downstairs asking the bartender about House. House takes several pills and moves to the balcony. He climbs on top of the railing and looks down. We see Wilson moving through the hotel bar and onto its outdoor patio looking for House. Wilson and everyone else look up and see House. House jumps off the balcony as Wilson yells “No!” We hear House yell “cannonball” and land in the pool. Under the water he smiles. He surfaces and is joined in the pool by dozens of drunk college kids. House pumps his fist and chugs a beer. Wilson shakes his head and walks away.
In last week´s House, we got to see a great episode filled with homages and stuff. Well, one of those was a song performed by Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein. House sings Get Happy. The Song was performed by artists as Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra.

We are getting to one very special episode on House called Bombshells in which we get to see wether Cuddy dies or not on House, and we are approaching the time when negotiations to get the cast back for season 8 of House are intensifying, and we start speculating if Wilson will leave House or not.
But before all that can happen or not. A new episode of House aired called Recession Proof, in which a patient is admitted after breaking out in a severe rash triggered by caustic chemical exposure at his blue-collar job. As the team treats him, they discover that he has led his wife to believe that he is still maintaining his once-lucrative real estate career. Meanwhile, Cuddy is honored with an award and needs House to be at the charity event for support, but his attendance is threatened when his patient’s battle to survive forces him to question his practice and his own happiness. Also, Chase and Masters teach each other a lesson in forging meaningful personal and professional relationships.
Cuddy: I assume you are avoiding me because of the charity event
Martha: He´s lying
House: Stand up… our little girl is finally growing up
House: All right, I’ll send along one of your big brothers to help. Do you want Scary, Swarmy, or Shorty? (In reference to Foreman, Chase and Taub)

House: I realize that three failed marriages can leave a man twisted and bitter inside but in a good relationship people often do good things for each other
House: Why do people think I´m incapable of doing nice things?
Wilson: Experience
House: Cause of death was an overly stabby girlfriend
House: Taub´s life partner has a point
Martha: So it´s Obama´s fault you are lying to your wife?
Chase: You are sharing the unique insight that women don´t like lying?
Foreman: Are you letting me win?
Foreman: You poisoned me
Foreman: Taub tried to kill me last night
House: Can´t you think and poop at the same time? There´s a life in stake here

House: Consider this me booting you off the nest
Martha: Do you even like me?
Chase: Be honest with her, but when it comes to wether brutal truth or some hope, go with the hope
House: I solved the case
Wilson: Your patient died
House: I didn´t say in time
House: We really need to talk, big time
House: I´ve made a decision. Being happy and being in love with you makes me a crappy doctor
House: You make me a worse doctor and people are gonna die… and you are totally worth it. If I had to choose between saving everybody or being happy and loving you I choose you, I choose being happy with you. I will always choose you… hehe, my hand is in your vagina

Update: Omar Epps and Robert Sean Leonard already signed to be in the eight and probably last season of House, but as a Shocker, Lisa Edelstein IS leaving House MD.
Lisa Edelstein just released the following statement: “After much consideration, I am moving onward with a combination of disappointment at leaving behind a character I have loved playing for seven years and excitement of the new opportunities in acting and producing that lie ahead.” So this means Lisa Edelstein´s Dr Cuddy is leaving House, and what will that mean for the show? Who knows. Maybe House ends up with Olivia Wilde´s Thriteen. Who knows.

A lot is happening on the House MD front, with rumours about Wilson leaving House, as it is announced by the promos of the next House episode “This is no ordinary episode of House.” and we are not yet giving too big a spoiler.
Candice Bergen will be back to reprise her role as Cuddy´s mom, but why will she be there? Well, as it´s teased by TVLine, and the big reason why is because of her daughter´s health.
As I told you when discussing Wilson, Hugh Laurie is the only one inked beyond this season, but showrunners are confident that Robert Sean Leonard, Lisa Edelstein, and the rest of the cast will be back for next season of House.
But that does not say anything on wether Cuddy will die on House or not. Well, I can say this is a big tease from the Ausiello gang, and Cuddy is not dying. But you will surely be dying to watch the episode of House, since Hugh Laurie will be singing, and there will be a lot of fantasy sequences.
