We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.
This fall season, a lot of shows are falling like crazy. NBC already cancelled Outlaw, ABC Family cancelled Huge, Fox cancelled Lone Star, ABC cancelled My Generation, and also cancelled The Whole Truth, and MTV cancelled The City in its second season, and HBO cancelled Big Love at its fifth and NBC cancelled Undercovers, and Supernanny gets cancelled so Jo Frost can move on, and Disney cancelled Jonas LA, or the sad sad news about Rubicon getting cancelled, and the unofficial cancellation for Medium.
Some are getting renewed, since HBO renews Eastbound & Down for season three, and also renews Bored to Death for season three and TLC renewed Sister Wives, and NBC renews Days of Our Lives and a double season renewal for 30 Rock, Fox renews The Simpsons and TruTV renewed Hardcore Pawns and TLC renewed Freaky Eaters.
In this case, as The Futon Critic announced, TNT is cancelling Dark Blue after its second season. The second season of Dark Blue was a 10 episode order, and there won´t be a third season order for the McDermott led police show.
The rating weren´t there, and the show was the least watched original series from TNT, being overmatched by Hawthorne, Memphis Beat, The Closer, Rizzoli & Isles and Leverage.

I am very upset that Dark Blue has been cancelled. They didn’t really give it a chance. It seems like they just wanted to do away with it without even trying. Season One was better than season two. Their biggest mistake was bringing Alex in and putting her in charge.
It angers me because they picked up Southland which was cancelled from NBC and gave that another chance and it didn’t even orginate on TNT.
Some series on TNT get more than one season a year. Ex. The Closer, Leverage.
It’s just not fair. Maybe if the would have left well enough along and not tweaked it….I don’t know.
DARK BLUE WAS MY FAVORITE SHOW.
I am very disappointed that TNT is cancelling Dark Blue that was one of my favorite shows on T.V. I do wat the other original series as well. It is very disappointing that TNT did not give this show a chance, it should have been picked up for a 3rd season. Ratings are not everything.
It’s TNT’s own fault the show didn’t do so well the second season. Bringing in Tricia Helfer’s character and the FBI completely undermined all that was so great about season one. It was all about the badass guys and then second season was trying to make it all angsty and stupid. I can’t believe they trashed this and kept frickin’ Southland. Stupid move TNT. I’m never watching you channel again because I’m tired of you cancelling the shows I watch.

I agree with Sarah. The last season was not nearly as good as the first one. I loved the first season, but bringing in Tricia Helfer for the second season ruined the show. That is why this show failed.
i am not happy dark blue was cancelled, i liked that show, i watch hawthorne, memphis beat and some of their other shows on tnt and i dont think any of the others were better, they were all about equal in my book
My husband and I (in our fifties) just started watching DARK BLUE at the second season…and LOVED it. We are upset that it is being cancelled. WHY? Please try it again, we were just settling in to FINALLY enjoy a good show and you cancel..unbelievable!
Dark Blue should not have been cancelled it was a GREAT show needed more time for the TNT fans to start watching. Great writers & actors hope they bring it back or gets pick up by another station. As a loyal fan of TNT shows how much time do you give a show to succeed a concern TNT fan.
I, THINK TNT “SUCKS” BIG TIME! I LOVED “DARK BLUE” AND YET THEY START A NEW SHOW, THAT I AM POSITIVE IT IS GOING TO BOMB OUT, BECAUSE OF THE CAST THEY PICKED. THAT ONE ACTOR ALREADY BOMBED OUT ON “RAISING THE BAR” AND IS GOING TO AGAIN………….
Very sad they canceled dark blue. It was alit better than Memphis blue. Please bring it back…
Good luck with this show and well wishes to each of this man trying to carry a show and act and action and running and jumping and moving and gather people that are going to love it and watch it and many woman need to pay attention to this show for reason? Learning and placing yourself in there drama gathers better understanding on many levels!
