Mark your calendars, for Season three of White Collar returns with six edge-of-your seat episodes on Tuesday, January 17 at 10/9c.

What has happened to Elizabeth? And will Neal choose a side?

White Collar mid season three premiere Checkmate spoilers and best quotes

Diana: We´ll find her Peter

Peter: You have the treasure
Neal: I didn´t steal it
Peter: You son of a bitch, I don´t care, you have it, and Keller knows. You are going to give it to him so I can have my wife back
Neal: Yes, whatever you need

Elizabeth: Hi hon (So, no, Elizabeth Burke is not dead to start the episode, but Keller has her)
Peter: Hi hon, are you ok?

Neal: What did she say?
Peter: She could´ve said anything, and she asked me about Satchmo

Peter: There he is, I love my wife

Peter: Take me to the treasure

Neal: I didn´t ask for it
Peter: You could´ve walked away
Neal: I could´ve walked away. I should be paying for this, not Elizabeth
Peter: You will pay for this, just not right now

Peter: Where is it?
Neal: It was here. I swear Peter it was here. He must have moved it already
Peter: He? Who? Mozzie? You better call him
Neal: I tried

Neal: It´s Elizabeth, no lies, I don´t know

Peter: Mozzie can be anywhere in the world. We have less than twelve hours to find him
Neal: Peter, we are gonna get her back
Peter: And we start by getting Mozzie

Peter: What were you two arguing about?
Neal: Mozzie wanted to leave New York. I didn´t
Peter: Why not?
Neal: You, Elizabeth, Sarah. That window; stepping off that elevator Monday. I have a life here.

Neal: He doesn´t know but another life needs to be saved.

Diana: Boss, is there anything I can do for you?
Peter: Exactly what you are doing. There´s nobody in the world I´d trust more to spearhead this than you and Jones.

Peter: The less you know, the better right now Diana

Keller: Not even Neal can pick this lock.

Keller: Unless you have a drill hiding in your blouse, you are staying here.

Keller: Shoot her in the foot if she tries anything.

Peter: We´ve been playing by Keller´s rules. Let´s change the game.

Neal: Picturing you shooting Keller?
Peter: No, I just wanna smash his face

Mozzie: It´s a storage facilities, for honorable thieves. The kind who won´t steal from other thieves.
Keller: No such thing sweetheart.

Peter: We can do this without the commentary.

Keller: You did this
Peter: I wouldn´t play games with my wife´s life

Peter: The three of you do the best you do. Steal it
Keller: The three of us? The four.
Peter: I´m an FBI agent.

Keller: Caffrey you are a terrible host.
Neal: That´s because I don´t want you hear to begin with.

Peter: No, no killing, even more, no guns on this one.

white-collar-spoilers-quotes-midseason-premiere-checkmate-peter-elizabeth-kiss-burkeMozzie: Is there anyone in this room you didn´t try to kill?
Keller: You. Yet. But it´s starting to cross my mind Mozzie.

Keller: This is gonna be fun. Who´s excited? You? Anyone?

Keller: Why didn´t you leave?
Neal: You´ve seen what I have here. Where would I go.
Keller: Well, everybody would know you betrayed them.

Peter: Are you saying you care?
Mozzie: About Mrs Suit.

Neal: We have fifty five minutes to load everything up

Keller: What is it?
Neal: Apparently they skipped lunch.

Peter: Jones, we need to find her now. Every second counts.

Neal: Just like old times.

Police Officer: Bunch of NeoNazis?
Keller: Above my paygrade.

Neal: What part of no killing didn´t you get?

Elizabeth: Go get him. Then come back to me.

Neal: Not a Raphael… you wouldn´t

Keller: Easy boy. I have the wife, remember?
Peter: Not anymore.

Peter: How did you make that shot?
Neal: Long Story.

Mozzie: What now?
Neal: Keller needs to go away forever and to make that happen, I need to give a full confession.
Mozzie: That means prison. Lot of it.
Neal: I know. I´ll turn myself in in the morning. That should give you twelve hours of head start.

Mozzie: I always have a contingency plan.

Neal: If you want a happy ending, it depends on where you stop the story.

Mozzie: Til the next chapter
Neal: Til the next chapter.

Peter: Are you willing to give away everything?
Neal: Yes.
Peter: I am glad to hear that.

Peter: I know what you were prepared to do, and it means a lot to me

Neal: What does it mean?
Peter: It means no anklet, no nothing. In three months you can be a free man

Will Neal Caffrey be free? Will he still be working together with Peter Burke? Five more episodes will still be on White Collar, so that means, it may end with precisely that cliffhanger. The moment where Neal becomes free.

White Collar Spoiler: Is Elizabeth Burke dead on White Collar? Did Keller kill or kidnap Elizabeth?

peter-burke-finale-expression-elizabeth-burke-dead-kidnap-keller-white-collarKeller talked to Peter in the last minutes of tonight´s season finale of White Collar. (You can see my spoiler recap and quotes of White Collar season finale too).

But in the end of the episode, the cinematography was superb, with Peter numb going back home after talking to him, only to see Diana tell him that a neighbor saw a black van with jersey plaques taking Elizabeth alive.

Let´s all remember that White Collar finale last time had us wondering if Mozzie was dead, and turned out to be a no. Let´s also remember we are also left with a cliffhanger on Castle to see if Beckett is dead or alive, and we also have Dexter, where Rita was killed.

So, what´s the route White Collar is taking? Is Elizabeth Burke going to die? Is Elizabeth Burke just kidnapped by Keller?

My bet is this: Keller kidnapped Elizabeth Burke, but Elizabeth Burke is alive and that will help build up the tension between Neal and Peter, but they will eventually work together on rescuing Elizabeth from Keller, bringing them back once again.

What do you think? Did Keller kill Elizabeth Burke? Did Keller kidnap Elizabeth Burke?

White Collar third mid-season finale semi spoilers and quotes

white-collar-spoilers-quotes-countdown-midseason-finaleTonight´s the night for White Collar´s third season mid-season finale, with an episode called Countdown who has Beau Bridges, Anna Chlumsky, Ross McCall and Jamie Harris guest starring.

I had the privilege of watching the season finale Countdown of White Collar ahead, so I could write a little about it.

And I have some light spoilers from White Collar third season midseason finale. Nothing big, just a couple of quotes from it and a couple of moments. Nothing after the fifteen minute mark, because trust me… you will want to watch White Collar midseason finale August 9 9/8 C on USA.
Mark my words… you will want to watch it.

White Collar third mid-season finale semi spoilers and quotes

First of all, the biggest non spoiler: The episode is a must watch
Neal and Mozzie must stay one step ahead of the the FBI while appearing to work with them in order to keep them from discovering that they possess the treasure.
The episode opens with a previosuly on sequence that shows Mozzie and Neal toasting for the big score they´ve done, and then Peter and Diana talking about the manifest.
We see Anna Chlumsky´s first appearance on the show and Peter´s suspecting face.

I know it´s a previously on scene, but Mozzie saying “You lied to me?” to Neal still gives me the chills.

Now it´s time for the actual midseason finale episode Countdown, that starts with Mozzie sitting on a bench in the park and Neal sneaking upon him to talk to Moz, since he´s angry and wouldn´t talk to him; Neal had to semi con him.

Neal: You have every right to be angry at me. I lied to you.
Moz: Why?

Neal: I have a life here
Moz: We have a dream
Neal: Well, dreams change

Moz: Come on Neal, this was the one… a perfect last score.

Moz: But that leaves a question… do you wanna stay?
Neal answers: (Hey, of course I won´t tell you this! You need to see the episode… tinsy bits and teases are ok… big time spoilers are kind of no no)

Beau Bridges enters the scene at the FBI as agent Kramer, Peter´s mentor! “I´m paraphrasing here, but I don´t think Socrates would mind”

Jones: A Degas!
Peter: Good eye Hones

Agent Kramer: What do you think, Neal?
Neal: Me? I think recovering this masterpiece would be incredible, sir.
Peter: Me too. So we are gonna find it.

Aaaand that´s about as much as I can tell you in the form of mini spoilers. For the rest, you´ll need to watch the finale of White Collar, and once again, believe me… you will want to.

Update: Now that the episode has aired we can actually do the full recap of White Collar midseason finale:

Neal: Take Peter add years of experience and less inclination to cut as slack

Neal: He know enough of our Degas to scare the hell out of me

Agent Kramer: You are awful close to the person you suspect took the Degas

Agent Kramer: When this happens you are not putting cuffs on a criminal. You are taking down a friend. Peter, you need to protect yourself.

Agent Kramer: If Neal is a suspect, you need to treat him like that.

Neal: Must be nice having someone trust you
Peter: Never gave him a reason not to

Rusty: This is genetics… that shirt is a choice

Agent Kramer: Your boy is very helpful for our lead suspect
Peter: So it seems.

Melissa Matthews: You can call me Melissa after last time

Neal: Can I trust you?
Melissa: What´s wrong
Neal: Melissa, can I trust you?
Melissa: Try me
Neal: What I´m about to say… damned, you are not authorized
Melissa: Authorized for what?
Neal: Doesn´t matter, there´s no time. There´s a mole in the White Collar division here in New York.

Melissa: Chris…
Neal: Call me Neal.

Neal: I owe you another Martini.

Neal: That´s Agent Kramer talking. He´s the devil on your shoulder.

Neal: Prove it
Peter: Be careful what you wish for
Neal: Then good luck

Neal: We have a problem
Mozzie: We maybe have to copyright that phrase

Elizabeth: Neal really did it, didn´t he?
Peter: What got you so convinced?
Elizabeth: You. The last time you obsessed that much, you caught him

Mozzie: We have a problem
Neal: You are right. I shoould copyright that phrase

Mozzie: You have a plan…

Mozzie: Oh, I´m sorry, I thought you had a good plan

Agent Kramer: That doesn´t mean he´s not planning something
Peter: Oh, he is.

Neal: Oh come on Peter you cannot lock me in here

Neal: See you on the other side, Moz

Peter: So it´s a forgery?

Peter: I thought for sure it was out there.

Agent Kramer: The hardest thing to do is admit you´re wrong.

Agent Kramer: I can tell he wants to be here.

Melissa: You really are Neal Caffrey
Neal: Welcome to White Collar

Mozzie: It´s time for you to make a choice. Do you want to leave or not?
Neal: No. There are things about this life that I´m not ready to give up.

Mozzie: I´ll see you around Neal.

Peter: He took my wife

Is Moz leaving White Collar? My bet is again no. I already bet he was not dying last finale.

But what happened to Elizabeth on White Collar season finale? Is she dying? Let´s theorize in the comments section.

Recap from White Collar S03E07 – Taking Accounts

Recap by MikeSaros, jabell, nancygailus for IMDB.com

Open with Neal (Matt Bomer) and Sara (Hilarie Burton) walking down the street talking about getting away. She tries to make a withdrawal from the ATM. She is stunned to find her account empty.

At the office, Peter (Tim DeKay) tells the team a virus hit Sara’s bank, stealing $120 million from customers. A thief then left a rambling message on the website. It wasa statement about finance. Someone named Cameron DuPont (a cover) had the exact amount stolen deposited in his Swiss bank account.

Peter tells Sara what happened. She correctly guesses if the guy isn’t caught, her money is gone forever. Neal invites her to stay with him.

Mozzie (Willie Garson) doesn’t love the idea of Sara crashing with Neal. He offers his assistance in finding the crook, in part to get her out of there. The plan is to create a person called DuPont and start spending his money in the hopes of flushing the true culprit.

Sara brings up Neal’s fake passport. He tells her there are a number of reasons he’d need an alias, calming her fear he’s leaving town.

Jones (Sharif Atkins) is able to figure out the thief is a well-known hacker named The Vulture.

Neal, Mozzie and Sara run a scam which gets them access to the bank’s computer. This allows Sara to feed Neal the answers to the DuPont account’s security questions. The result is the thief can no longer access the money, but he can view the balance.

Neal and Sara buy four $20 million helicopters and various expensive clothes, jewelry and art.

Diana (Marsha Thomason) tells Peter the Swiss bank reported strange activity on DuPont’s account. Peter immediately guesses Neal is responsible.

A furious Peter shows up at Neal’s place. Peter demands Sara lay low and Neal come with him.

Neal points out to Peter theft was never The Vulture’s thing.

Mozzie (familiar with The Vulture) is brought in by Peter for help with the case. He contacts the Vulture via a website. A meeting is scheduled.

At the meeting site, a text is sent through Peter’s SUV: “I am innocent.” The Vulture is a woman (Lena Headey), who asks Mozzie to meet her. When Mozzie leaves, the car bullets start flying. Diana grabs The Vulture on her way out, but Jones missed the sniper. The Vulture says they are looking for Kurt Brower, who she helped design the virus that robbed the bank.

The Vulture (who calls herself Sally) says she doesn’t know what Brower looks like. She helped him with the bug, but had no interest in the money. She wanted to publicize corruption.

Peter tells Neal of a plan to use Neal’s image as bait to draw out Brower.

Mozzie visits Sally and tells her she’s in danger. She doesn’t seem concerned, but lets him add a few security features. This leads to them hooking up.

Neal hints at the possibility of them living without concern for money. He’s about to show Sara the treasure until she says she doesn’t like the idea of spending money she didn’t earn.

Brower didn’t show up at the PO Box where they pretended Neal would be. He left a flash drive. When they place the drive into a computer, it allows him to access the DuPont file, changing back the personal information so he can access the remaining money. He must go to a bank to get the money. Neal thinks he’ll be in the wind once he does so. Mozzie and Sally hack the bank to access security footage. They find video of Brower entering the bank and leaving via cab.

Peter and his team arrive at the Port Authority. Peter’s idea is to “deputize every single person in this terminal.”

Mozzie and Sally hack the video screen and cell phones over everyone in the terminal, placing a huge picture of Brower next to an FBI warning sign. Immediately, Brower is located. Brower tells Peter he’s a hero “to my people.” Jones grabs his laptop which he guesses will have the evidence they need to put him away.

Outside Peter admits just before he caught Neal, he bluffed him out of a hiding place of which the feds were not aware.

June (Diahann Carroll) tells Sara to “give Neal time” before she can expect to be let in on his secrets. Sara calls Neal and asks him to explain what he meant earlier. Neal doesn’t tell her the truth.

Mozzie hints to Neal he is dating Sally. They talk around the idea of never leaving. “And be closet billionaires?” Mozzie asks. He sets Sally’s phone number on fire to cut ties. However, as Neal reminds Mozzie he has a photographic memory and has already committed her number to memory, he admits it was basically a gesture.

Back in Neal’s apartment Sara guesses the password for the closed circuit camera: “Neal what did you do?”

Recap from White Collar S02E14 Payback

Recap by MikeSaros for IMDB

Open with word abou Matthew Keller (Ross McCall), recently sentenced to 20 years in a SuperMax for manslaughter. He’s told the feds he has national security information he’ll only share with Peter (Tim DeKay). We learn Keller was an old rival of Neal’s.

A doubtful Peter and Neal (Matthew Bomer) visit Keller in prison. While he plays Neal in chess, Keller tells them he wants to remain in his current minimum security facility in exchange for information on fake passports given to terrorists and smugglers. He gives them the name Jason Lang (Adam Goldberg).

Peter and Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) have an argument related to his forgetting to pick-up dry cleaning.

Both Mozzie (Willie Garson) and Neal want Keller to find his way to maximum security. He is scheduled to be transferred later that day.

Peter has found out Lang and Keller used to be partners. The relationship ended when Lang shot him. He and Neal think the story is probably bogus, but they still need to look into it.

Neal looks down his nose at Peter’s “fight” with Elizabeth, but Peter is bothered.

Photographer/artist Lang tells Peter he makes enough money as a legit photographer not to need a “side business.” Neal notices the equipment to make passports is on-site and that Lang uses holograms in his artwork. Lang makes a dash for it. Peter goes after him. It turns out to be a setup. Peter is blindfolded and stuffed in a van before Neal can get there. A phone lying on the ground starts to ring. Neal answers it. It is Keller, saying unless Neal plays along Peter will die.

Peter tells Lang that Keller will betray him. He realizes Lang must need him for something and wants to work something out. Lang tells him he’s not interested in any deals.

Neal goes to see Keller, facing transfer to a maximum security facility where he will be in grave danger because of a $2.5 million debt he owes to the Russians. Keller mentions something Neal acquired six years earlier which is worth that amount. He gives Neal three hours to get it back. Neal calls Diana (Marsha Thomason) to update her.

Hughes (James Rebhorn) organizes the mission to get Peter back. Hughes tells Neal they will not negotiate with Keller, adding Keller is still on his way to the SuperMax. Mozzie calls Neal. He’s gotten a call to set up a meeting. Neal tells him to bring a hammer. Elizabeth arrives at the bureau. Neal tells her Keller is prepared for everything the FBI is doing. He asks Elizabeth what she wants him to do. She responds: “Whatever it takes to bring him home.”

Neal assures Diana that Peter will be killed if he doesn’t intervene. She agrees to help.

A half hour before the exchange, Neal and Mozzie go to a park and use a chisel to get a ring out of a statue. This is what Keller said would take care of the Russians.

Using a safety pin left on his suit by the dry cleaner, Peter works on his handcuffs. Before Lang leaves for the exchange, Peter figures out the intention is to break Keller out during the exchange and eventually kill Peter.

Mozzie goes to see Elizabeth. He assures her Peter will come home safe. He gives her a bug so she can hear the progress.

Neal and Lang sit down. Neal won’t give him the ring without proof Peter is alive, so Lang calls and allows him one texted question. The question is which cell phone number Neal used the last time he called. Peter glares at his kidnapper’s cell phone and gives a number.

Neal decodes Peter’s message: “No transfer.” Diana calls Jones (Sharif Atkins), following the bus and tells him to try and stop the convoy. At that exact moment, Keller is broken out of the bus. Jones and several other agents give chase but Keller escapes.

While Lang waits for Keller to arrive, Peter picks his handcuffs and goats Lang into trying to shoot him. Peter takes the gun from him, knocks him out and works on taking his phone.

Hughes is upset with Neal for dealing with Keller and sends him away. On his way out, Peter calls and asks to talk to Neal. Peter describes his cell, then asks Neal to figure out a way for him to escape. Neal talks him through the process, the final stage of which involves using the cell phone battery. After losing their phont connection, it works and Peter calls, with Lang at gunpoint.

The team arrives at Peter’s location. Keller never shows and Neal wonders if that was his plan all along. Peter tries to give back the ring, but Neal doesn’t take it.

Peter and Elizabeth have a reunion. Keller calls Neal and says they should leave each other alone for a while. Neal promises he’ll find him.

Recap from White Collar S02E13 Countermeasures

Recap by MikeSaros

Open with Neal touching base with Mozzie who is working on the fractal.

Neal meets a man who calls himself Ford. He is friends with June. She’s given him things and this bothers Neal. Ford says he’s an old friend of June’s husband but doesn’t elaborate.

Neal goes to Diana for help fingerprinting a coin Ford tossed him.

The coin comes back with the fingerprint of a murder suspect and career criminal named Jonas Ganz. The only problem is that the man in the file is not Ford.

It turns out Ford was a real estate crook and roommate of Ganz’ in the joint. 20 years earlier Ford did time with June’s husband for running an illegal casino on the floor of June’s house where Neal now lives.

Neal finds June in his room looking through some old pictures. She says Ford had been asking about a suit her husband wore in one of them. When she leaves Neal finds the suit and grabs a receipt out of one of the pockets. Ford knocks on his door and tells Neal he hopes he would be understanding of an ex-con. He says that he ran several poker games in the room Neal lives in while also being a crooked dealer. June comes up and they ask Neal to dinner. She leaves and Ford says he’s looking for a second chance.

Mozzie tells Neal he thinks Ford is trying to scam June and agrees to hang around the house and watch June. Peter calls with word Ganz is putting together a crew for a new heist. Peter wants to question Ford but Neal thinks the better way to play it for him and Elizabeth to join him at dinner.

Peter is at dinner under the pretense of being a former criminal partner of Neal’s. After dinner Neal leaves to answer a call from Mozzie. Word on the street is that Ford is well-respected and smooth. Mozzie has enhanced the receipt. It is for one of June’s coffee tables and it has had some custom work done. While Neal’s gone they start looking through photo albums. Upstairs Neal opens a secret compartment in the table and finds what looks like plates for making counterfeit $100 bills. Neal brings Peter up to see it but they are already gone. They walk outside and learn Ford is gone as well.

Neal and Peter discuss that Ford would need to steal paper in order to make the bills. While wondering if that might be what Ganz’ crew was going to do Diana tells them Ford was grabbed outside Ganz’ place.

Ford tell Neal and Peter that he told Ganz about the plate while they were inside in exchange for protection. June’s husband stole the plate from Ford in order to protect him for getting in trouble. Ford said all he was doing was giving the plate to Ganz so he wouldn’t go near June looking for it. He has told Ganz what he’ll need to print the bills. Ford scrapes his fingertips every morning to remove prints.

Peter doesn’t trust Ford. Neal isn’t sure. Peter wants to put Neal and Ford undercover.

Under the pretense of Neal being a replacement forger, he and Ford meet with Ganz. All goes well (Neal is asked to pick the fake among some IDs) until Ford makes a comments that reveals he knows more than he should about Ganz’ last forger. Guns come out and Peter’s team prepares to move in. Neal quickly covers for Ford. Ganz says Neal will be handling the job without Ford.

Peter and Neal think Ganz’ next move will be getting paper. Using the name from one of the fake IDs they locate a likely spot where Ganz will look to steal the paper.

Mozzie and Neal doubt that Ford will be able to resist the temptation of a last big score.

Cut to Diana telling Peter that Ganz and Ford are off the grid. Peter hears the paper they believe will be stolen is in transit and we see Ganz show up at Neal’s place and grab him.

Ganz (without Ford) wants Neal to ID which paper they should take off the truck. They pull over the truck and Neal takes the paper.

Ganz and Neal show up at the counterfeiting location and we see Ford waiting for them. He’s been in on everything from the beginning. Neal starts making money for them.

Peter asks Mozzie for help finding Ford. Peter remembers there was a photo album Ford seemed nervous about during dinner. They spot a likely location.

Cut to a police car showing up outside the counterfeiting spot. A nervous Ganz leaves and Ford reveals the cop was there for a cat-in-tree call and this was Ford’s way of getting rid of Ganz. He has given Ganz a case without the plates. But after Ganz leaves Peter and his team show up. Ganz is arrested and we see his case contained money. Inside Ford grabs a gun and a case, presumably containing the plates. Neal tells Ford it’s not too late for him if Neal backs his story. Ford says to tell June he’s sorry and leaves out the back.

Cut to Ford opening the case in a nearby alley and seeing that it contains only blank paper.

June tells Neal she knew what kind of man Ford was. She thinks she gave him another shot to recall the past.

Neal and Mozzie talk about the future and it’s revealed the plate may have found its way back into June’s table.
